The pinnacle of the sixth-generation Ford Mustang, the Shelby GT500 features a 760-horsepower supercharged 5.2-liter "Predator" aluminum-alloy V8 engine paired with a 7-speed Tremec dual-clutch transmission. This 2021 example is finished in Carbonized Gray over Ebony leather upholstery. It is optioned with the $18,500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack, adding lightweight carbon fiber aerodynamic parts, exposed carbon wheels, Recaro bucket seats, and adjustable strut top mounts. It was also optioned with a high-gloss Ebony racing stripe and the Technology Package with a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system. Remaining under the care of its original owner in New York, this GT500 is now being offered for auction with under 2,500 miles showing on the odometer.
The GT500 features more aggressive bodywork than a contemporary Mustang with a larger front grille, side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a vented hood. The optional Carbon Fiber Track Pack also adds a revised front fascia with splitter wickers, a manually adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, and 20” exposed carbon fiber wheels with a locking kit. This example is finished in Carbonized Gray with an optional high-gloss Ebony over-the-top racing stripe. Other details include automatic HID projector headlamps, LED taillights, sequential turn signals, Brembo brake calipers, hood pins, and quad exhaust tips. The seller notes the car was professionally detailed in September 2024 with paint correction and a ceramic wax application. The Ebony leather interior comes without rear seats and features leather/Alcantara-trimmed Recaro bucket seats as part of the optional Carbon Fiber Track Pack. The hand-built 5.2-liter Predator V8 has a 2.65-liter supercharger, producing up to 760 HP and 625 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 7-speed Tremec dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Torsen 3.73 limited-slip differential. Performance features include electronic power-assisted steering, an engine oil cooler, an independent rear suspension, launch control/line lock, Ford Track Apps for recording telemetry and performance data, a Magenride adaptive damping suspension, and Brembo brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers over 2-piece vented rotors. The Carbon Fiber Track Pack also adds adjustable strut top mounts. The seller notes an oil change was recently completed, and the factory warranty remains in effect.
