A dedicated track-only version of Ford’s ultimate supercar, the GT Mk II was engineered for maximum performance, unbound by motorsports regulations that limit the contemporary Ford GTLM factory race car. The GT Mk II is built by Multimatic in Ontario, Canada, and features a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, a Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, adjustable DSSV shock absorbers, an air jack system, an aggressive carbon fiber aerodynamic kit, 19” forged alloy wheels, an FIA-compliant roll cage, carbon fiber Sparco bucket seats, and a fire suppression system. This 2021 example is one of 45 produced in total and is said to have been purchased new by television producer Dick Wolf before the current owner acquired it. Having never seen track use with only 33 miles showing on the odometer, this Ford GT Mk II is now being offered for auction out of Colorado.
Generating four times the downforce of a standard Ford GT, the Mk II showcases a carbon fiber front splitter, dive planes, side skirts, fender louvers, a large rear diffuser, a dual-element rear wing, and a vented carbon fiber engine cover with an integrated roof scoop, The exterior is finished in White Water Pearl and includes carbon fiber mirrors, a front NACA duct, butterfly doors, LED headlights and taillights, fixed polycarbonate windows, tow hooks, integrated dual exhaust outlets, and 19” Forgeline forged alloy wheels.
The black Alcantara and exposed carbon fiber cockpit features fixed-back Sparco bucket seats, blue Sparco safety harnesses, and an Alcantara-trimmed Multimatic carbon fiber racing steering wheel. Other accessories include an FIA-compliant chromoly roll cage, a fire suppression system, a 10” digital dashboard display, and a MoTec data acquisition system with an integrated rearview camera display.
The GT Mk II’s twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 is rated at 700 HP, an increase of 200 HP over the GTLM race car. The raised output is supported by the car’s roof-mounted intake and two outboard-mounted intercoolers with an automatic ionized water sprayer system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and braking is handled by Brembo carbon ceramic discs measuring 15.1” up front and 14.1” at the rear. The Mk II also features revised Bosch ABS, billet-machined uprights, an air-jack system, and adjustable Multimatic DSSV two-stage dampers with fixed-rate springs.
This Ford GT Mk II is offered with owner’s manuals, a toolkit, an extra set of Michelin racing tires, and a bill of sale.
The seller would like you to know: “Wow. These are just incredible cars! And this one is virtually brand new. I have not driven it - as you can see, basically nobody has driven it. But it just looks fast, and sounds mean. Amazing car for the right person.”
