This 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been customized as a tribute to the 1969 Charger with modern automotive technology. It features an exposed black carbon fiber body that emulates a classic Charger and a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that makes up to 797 HP and 707 lb.-ft of torque. One of very few custom built units, this Charger tribute is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas showing less than 400 miles on the odometer.
The exterior is comprised of an exposed black carbon fiber body resembling a 1969 Charger covered with Demon Smoke clearcoat transparent paint. It also has a custom carbon fiber Hellcat hood and a custom carbon fiber engine compartment. Exterior details include a red stripe that reaches across the trunk and rear fenders with Hellcat logos on either side and Challenger badging behind the side windows. It stretches four inches wider than a standard 1969 Hellcat and rides on black 20″ Warp Speed wheels dressed in Nitto NT555 G2 tires from 2022. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Demonic Red Laguna leather upholstery with a premium stitched dash panel, suede headliner, carbon fiber accenting, and a Harmon Kardon AM/FM stereo with 18 speakers, a subwoofer, and surround sound. Safety features include blind spot and cross-path detection, reverse sensors, and a backup camera. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.
The supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine produces up to 797 HP and 707 lb.-ft of torque that is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission with paddle shifters and a limited-slip differential. Stopping power is provided by Brembo four-wheel disc brakes with six-piston calipers at the front.
This sale will include a clean title, window sticker, spare tire, owner’s manuals, and some documentation.
The seller would like you to know: “This Challenger is a true eye catcher. It was amazingly restored on an OEM chassis and pairs modern technology for the best of both worlds!"

@jfkauto the car on BAT is painted, not exposed polished carbon. Exposed carbon car is obviously worth more.
350k to build a new one
Did not meet reserve?
Wonder how long before we see this result posted on the purple car listing on bat

@BigMikeD Car is a stud, and as new.
@fcort7 I saw it there as well. Every gawker in the building must’ve touched it! It had hand prints all over it. But the car was perfect. @vikingH … I assume it’s still “perfect” since it only has 400 miles. Please confirm.

@KyleMac I received the car from the previous owner and did not have it built. Based on the quality, I bet it was expensive.
Approximately how much money was invested in this project?
That is helpful...thanks.
I found a video on their FB page that briefly covers what they do with the donor Hellcat. Might be of use to potential bidders. Unfortunately, I cannot post the link here.
@HemiSam I will try to get it on a lift early next week. The car is brand new and will look like a new hellcat underneath as the suspension and drivetrain have not been modified. All of the safety features, airbags, lane departure etc works as designed from factory. It was built buy SIX12 Autoworx which is a custom shop in the northeast that builds high end cars. They built 10 and this is car # 10. The designed and fabricated the molds for the bodies.
That makes a lot more sense. Reminded me of the interior in my Demon.
Some shots on a lift I think could be very useful. That and the shop that built it and any work in progress shots.
Looks like a high quality vehicle, but there's just not much information.
@HemiSam it is a 2021.. 400 miles, like new.
Who built the car? Are there any images of the process you can share?
The interior looks newer than a 2011, BTW.
@Gopherbroke This is a brand new Challenger Hellcat straight out of the box. The sheet metal was removed and replaced with a carbon fiber body to mimic a 69 Charger. I’ve seen one up close (there aren’t very many at all). So all of the interior, electronics, suspension, etc is 100% factory. It’s a brand new HellCat with a carbon body replacement!
@Gopherbroke it was a 2011 Dodge Challenger hell-cat. The removed the body and replaced it with a 69 tribute body in complete carbon fiber. the chassis, motor, interior is a 2021 hellcat.
Bid in the amount of $75,500
To me this is a Charger tribute, not a Challenger. It looks cool and everything but I don’t have clear understanding what it is. What is the platform/suspension it is based off of? Where does the body come from? What was used for the interior? Electronics? Great looking vehicle and probably performs well, just don’t know what the heck it is?
WOW. Nice Job. Looks just right . And it goes like stink I'll bet. GL
Sure looks like a 1969 Charger, as the Challenger was introduced in 1970. Cool car!
