Nicknamed “Quiet Riot”, this custom bike is based on a 2020 Zero FX, an all-electric dual sport motorcycle. It was designed and created by Munich-based fabricator Nick Gravely of Clay Moto Studio featuring hand-formed carbon fiber bodywork complemented by custom paint, Sun Racing wheels, modified handlebars, and a lowered suspension. Retaining its factory drivetrain and warranty protection, this custom one-off Zero FX is being offered for auction by its owner out of California with just over 500 miles on the digital dash.
The original bodywork has been stripped and replaced with custom carbon fiber panels hand-formed by Clay Moto Studio. The exposed weave is contrasted by a custom white and yellow painted livery with Clay Moto signatures and #25 racing numbers. The rider is provided with a high-density foam padded seat and a factory digital dash. Other details include custom raised and widened handlebars, a custom integrated number plate for the headlamp stack, and a custom rear hugger with a license plate integration. It rides on aftermarket Sun Racing wheels dressed in Shinko flat track-style tires, and the original wheels are included in the sale along with removed factory body components.
The Zero FX is equipped with Zero’s Z-force electric powertrain that delivers up to 46 HP and 78 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheel through a single-speed transmission. The bike offers a claimed top speed of 85 MPH and features the optional high-capacity ZF7.2 battery. It also comes standard with fully adjustable suspension and cross-drilled disc brakes. The bike is remotely supported with factory software updates via an app and remains under factory warranty until 3/7/2025.
This sale will include all original parts and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Quiet Riot is one of a kind custom electric bike, highlighted in a Bike Exif article and later featured in Uncrate. It's a conversation piece wherever it goes, and a work of art crafted in collaboration with the Zero Factory.”

This is a special bike. Truly a piece of art, but with factory underpinnings and reliability. It's an AMAZING city bike. Light, nimble, quick. But, expect your fair share of questions and conversations.
@silenthowie regular cycling from ~45% to 95% and the occasional ride to keep things balanced.
@xrdv8 the bike has current registration through March of '2025. The pics were taken just before the new sticker went on!
It’s a four year old bike how has the battery been maintained? The cells in these batteries don’t like to be stored for extended periods of time. Just curious if the battery is still balanced. Or if it just sat uncharged.
Thanks

Hello all. We're on the backstretch for this one. Please reach out with any questions and I'll do my best to respond quickly. Happy bidding.
@Trippfontaine Of course. As long as the bike is paid for in full, I'm happy to store it for you.
@MGH911 hi there. Seat height is 34 inches on uncompressed suspension
@shidinger I'm overseas. Can arrange shipping - but it may take a little time. Can bike be held after auction?
Hi. What is the seat height in inches?
@TransaxleJoe Hey Joe. Yes, the original forks and rear shock were replaced with the factory suspension from the Zero FXS. The original forks and rear shock and spring combo are included with the sale, and very easy to swap if you so desired.
@Gummer Zero claims 289 lbs. With the carbon body kit and other customization I'm guessing it's up to 10 lbs less than that. Though in fairness, I haven't weighed it.
The bike has been lowered?
Does this compromise suspension travel? Reversible?
Ty. Great looking machine!
What is the dry weight with battery? Thank you
We're off and running. Here for any questions you might have.
