The fifth-generation Toyota Supra, developed in collaboration with BMW, shares its platform with the Z4 and marked a highly anticipated return for the iconic nameplate. Limited to just 1,500 units for the U.S. market, the 2020 GR Supra Launch Edition is based on the upper-tier 3.0 Premium version and features a turbocharged inline-six engine, a leather interior with carbon fiber accents, and a choice of just three exterior colors. Designated as #335/1500, this example is finished in Renaissance Red exclusively paired with a Black leather interior. Options include the Driver Assist Package, carbon fiber mirror caps, and more. Showing less than 300 miles on the odometer, this Supra is now being offered for auction by its seller in Michigan.
This Supra is finished in Renaissance Red, one of three color choices available for the Launch Edition. Based on the 3.0 Premium trim, it receives 19” 5-double-spoke forged aluminum wheels, six-lens LED headlights, heated and power-folding mirrors, and brushed stainless steel exhaust outlets. Other details include a distinctive “double bubble” roof, side air intakes, an integrated ducktail rear spoiler, and optional carbon fiber mirror caps. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black leather and carbon fiber interior is exclusive to Launch Edition models finished in Renaissance Red. Infotainment controls have been carried over from BMW and driver amenities include a rearview camera, remote keyless entry, Lane Departure Warning (LDA) with Steering Assist, and rain-sensing wipers. As part of the 3.0 Premium specification, this example features an upgraded 8.8” touchscreen with navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, a Qi wireless charging pad, heated seats, and a color head-up display. The optional Driver Assist Package adds Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and parking sensors with Emergency Braking Function. A carpeted cargo mat was also selected.
Power is provided by a turbocharged inline-six engine factory-rated at 335 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The car boasts a near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution and was tested by Car and Driver to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in just 3.8 seconds. The accompanying CARFAX report lists three service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, and a battery charger.
The seller would like you to know: “This example has been driven for only 258 miles for a couple of car shows.”
