Equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox connected to its naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six, this 2020 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 is finished in Chalk over a Black leather and Alcantara interior with deviated red stitching. It was specified for European Delivery at the Porsche Factory in Germany at an original sticker price of over $117k and features optional Full Bucket Seats, seatbelts in Guards Red, gloss black door handles, Satin Aurum wheels, Bose Surround Sound System, and more. This GT4 was purchased by the seller, its second owner, in April 2021 and has been modified with adjustable monoball suspension components, slotted brake rotors, rear wing risers, a CMS roll cage, and a Sabelt 6-point safety harness. Showing approximately 11k miles on the odometer, this GT4 is now being offered for auction out of Virginia.

Based on the 718 Cayman, the GT4 features a more aggressive front fascia with larger radiator grilles, a front lip spoiler, side air intake scoops, a fixed rear wing, and a rear diffuser with integrated dual exhaust pipes. This example is finished in Chalk with optional door handles in high-gloss black, a rear Porsche logo in satin black, and 20” GT4 wheels in Satin Aurum with nearly new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Aftermarket rear wing risers have been installed to provide additional downforce and clear paint protection film is applied to the hood, nose, and mirrors. The seller notes that the car has seen some track use and minor scuff marks near the rear wheels and rear bumper. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Featuring optional carbon fiber Ful Bucket Seats, the cabin is appointed with Black leather and Alcantara upholstery complemented by deviated red stitching and brushed silver aluminum trim. Accessories include optional seatbelts in Guards Red, a steering wheel 12 o’clock marker in red, Bose Surround Sound System, Chrono Package, a fire extinguisher, automatic climate control, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with Apple CarPlay. An aftermarket red-painted CMS roll cage has been installed along with a matching Sabelt 6-point safety harness.

Rated at 414 HP, the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine features direct fuel injection, integrated dry-sump lubrication, adaptive cylinder control, and a variable intake manifold. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard performance features include an adaptive sport suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), dynamic transmission mounts, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) including a rear differential lock. This car has also been modified with aftermarket slotted brake rotors, monoball camber plates and thrust arm bushings, rear camber shims, inner control arm monoball bushings, and adjustable offset rear toe links. The seller states all original parts are included, and the car was serviced frequently under their ownership. The right front wheel bearing and drivetrain mount have been replaced, and there are no outstanding maintenance items reported at this time.

This sale will include owner's manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a battery charger, original parts, a DSC controller, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know:  "Thank you for visiting my auction. I have had the pleasure of driving this car for the past 3  years and have only begun to scratch the surface of its potential as both a daily driver and a track car.  I was planning on keeping this car indefinitely but was given the opportunity to acquire a GT3 a short while ago and am reluctantly putting the GT4 up for sale. All fluid changes to ready the car for the current track season were completed in March so the car is ready to go for the new owner."

@bldn10 I haven’t been to Road Atlanta but I go to VIR every year. Keep in mind that the car is capable of much faster lap times than the current driver. With that being said, I’ve done 2:10 at VIR, but a friend of mine with the exact same car has done 2:01.

  • bldn10 (registered bidder) 6 monthsago

@Carrcay08 laptimes? I’d be most interested in VIR and Road Atlanta.

  • Carrcay08 (seller) 6 monthsago

@bldn10 The suspension modifications do not affect street driving at all. Alignment settings per DSC specs are at Half Track and can easily be adjusted back to Street or all the way to Full Track Setup. Wheels are the standard 20” with Pilot Sport Cup 2s, but I have run Hoosier R7s occasionally, with about a 2-second per lap improvement. I also have a set of 19” Apex forged wheels which I’ve run with Nankang CR-S V2 tires, which I am selling separately. Lap times with those are similar to the Hoosiers on the 20” wheels.

  • bldn10 (registered bidder) 6 monthsago

What track times do you have and what tires/wheels did you run? Are the monoballs just too noisy and rough for street?

@sc166 I have all of the stock parts . They will be included with the sale.

  • sc166 6 monthsago

@Carrcay08 thanks! Do you still have any of the stock parts?

  • Carrcay08 (seller) 6 monthsago

@sc166 Two screenshots of the DME report as of today, June 14th have been uploaded and appear at the end of the photos. There are a number of ignitions in Overspeed 2 & 3, but these were the exact number identified 3 years ago when I purchased the vehicle. At that time I asked the dealer to perform a compression test and the results came back without any issues in any of the cylinders.

@sc166 I will take the car to my Porsche dealership tomorrow to run the report. They will provide screenshots of the results, which I will upload.

Is it possible to get DME report and upload results?
