If you want a matte finish, ppf is THE way to get it. No one, and I mean no one knows how to take care of a car with matte paint.

@u00rzo1 I apologize if I misunderstood your question. The answer is a little complicated but this is what Softronic reports
"Softronic is one of the only companies that gives you your true original file and a tuned file when you purchase our software. Any aftermarket ECU flash can and will be detected by a Porsche PIWIS factory tool. However when you reload your original file with the Flash Cable and Client Software, there is no detection. Porsche cannot detect anything as it is the ORIGINAL. Softronic provides you with the TRUE ORIGINAL file. Others that have a switching unit give you a stock type file where you are switching between fuel maps on a already altered file. The only flash counter that exists is when file updates are done by the factory PIWIS tool or Porsche related tool. Other “tuners” that do not know how to devert around unlike Softronic will show a flash counter change. How do we know? Softronic does data checking for many race organizations and Porsche is one of them. To check the data on race cars, we pull a random binary section of the file and check it against what is the original Porsche code. If this string does not match, then it has been altered. All tuned files must alter this data in order to work. However when you load your original file back to the car, this is not the case. To answer the biggest question, no this will not affect your warranty of the vehicle when only using our files. It is however the responsibility of each vehicle owner to abide by any state/federal laws, as well as understand what their warranty truly consists of. We recommend viewing this document."
@Dino356987 Ok, i think it was a valid question to ask, but let me rephrase it. Should the car be still under warranty, would the Softronic ECU void, or impact factory warranty still in force?

@Francois_MIA The PPF was installed 4/25/20, the invoice for OEM wheel exchange was for the purchase of Porsche OEM black satin RS Spyder 21" wheels. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
@Kubist The factory warranty was expired as of 02/2024. Here is some information on maintenance as well as how to identify EDU issues. https://www.porschedelaware.com/blog/how-to-take-care-of-your-porsche-vehicles-engine/

Hi, beautiful car! I see there's an invoice payment to OEM Wheels exchange, can you please tell what this is for? Sorry if it's written somewhere...
Also, do you know what was the date and approx mileage of the car when the mate PPF was installed on the car? Thank you!
Thanks!
Does the Softronic ECU void the factory warranty and future engine warranty issues? Love to learn more about the ECU, how too maintain and the impact (if any) on long term ownership. Thanks.
