From the sounds of the seller the reserve is close. Someone is going to get stupid lucky
There's no reason this car should not go for close to $120k.
For anyone considering bidding who has not driven a GT4, Yes, they are everything they are made out to be--awesome cars, on road and track.
Last week I drove mine from the NYC area to northern VT and I selected "avoid highways" on Waze. Man, what a drive--perhaps the very best ever. It took an extra few hours, but was worth every minute. It was an eight-hour trip in the LWBS and they are amazing, even for that duration.
This car is in a very cool color, which makes it even more special.
Something not often mentioned is the storage capacity of the GT4, which is also amazing. I cleaned out my late father's storage unit in VT and was able to bring everything I wanted in the GT4 home with me.
This is a car you'll want to own and drive....and enjoy!
The best driver's car ever, at any price.
Bid in the amount of $112,500
@12ace just got a gt3 otherwise I would be.
Bid in the amount of $112,250
Almost there
@Toothengineer you should be bidding. You are missing out.
I really like the license plate with the turtle.
I spec liked 100 of these trying to find the perfect combo. When I got into the 120's really liked the builds. Its hard to spec there under 110.
Bid in the amount of $112,000
Bid in the amount of $111,250
Bid in the amount of $111,000
I specced mine at 112. If this would have come earlier. I would have def bid up. There aren’t enough eyes on this auction. I don’t think people are seeing the benefit of buying from a private seller Bid well.
@sdmeade same
Bid in the amount of $110,250
@Toothengineer 100% Correct, I'm betting reserve is pretty close to original MSRP.
Bid in the amount of $110,000

No way 107 meets reserve
This will be interesting
Bid in the amount of $107,000
Bid in the amount of $105,000
@cwoodman67 there is no DME report. I never tracked the car. Fully observed the run-in period. I can do it if the buyer requires and wants to pay for it.
@cwoodman67 ?
So yes I will be the one, is there a DME report?
Pic 29 shows MSRP $124,940
What was the sticker price on this?
Wild on Porsche price appreciation - this was almost the MSRP of my 997 GT3RS
Bid in the amount of $90,009
This is perfect. No dealer bs already past the break in. Ready to be pounded on. If mine wasn’t coming in in a couple days i would have hawked this. Congrats to the lucky son of a b to get this. Bid heavy
Having owned 16 Porsche 911S & Turbo Carreras dating back to 1973 and selling them all myself I learned a long time ago not to answer 1 question. “Why are you selling it?”
@silverfox if this car had come up 5 weeks ago I would have been a very active bidder!!! Just picked up a PTS GT3 so now I am casual observer. But this is the exact same spec I had built, had gone back and forth on the PCCB.
On a side note how did you like it especially compared to the Spyder..... I would love to pick up a Spyder in a few years.
@Toothengineer Make a bid - you may get lucky ;)
Lets see if it hits MSRP; for about 2 weeks every time one of these would come up at a dealer I would call and see if I could snag one for just under MSRP. Only dealers that would budge where cars that where specked over 130k. This is just such a nice spec on this one! GLWS, lucky buyer.
Bid in the amount of $88,718
@bldn10 I'll save y'all some time. Never went over 5,500 RPM.
How long before someone calls for a DME report? :-)
@Sullicc4 The vehicle model has been updated.
In the description above, it is shown as a 2020 Carrera, not a 718 GT4
@slilley very simple, I also have a Spyder. I was planning to have GT4 for racetrack days, but pandemic changed all plans.
A question for the seller: why buy the car and auction it 600 miles later? Looks like a great build, so GLWA! I'd definitely look at it if I wasn't 10 states away.
Bid in the amount of $50,000
