Utilizing a powerful 4.0-liter flat-six engine, the 718 Spyder shares its underpinnings with the contemporary GT4 and features styling cues inspired by Porsche’s open-top race cars of the 1960s. Featuring a 6-speed manual transmission, this 2020 example is factory-finished in GT Silver Metallic over a black interior and wears a Moss Green Teckwrap. Options include 20” GT4 wheels in Satin Platinum, LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, a heated multifunction steering wheel, BOSE Surround Sound System, Apple CarPlay, and more. Showing less than 9k miles on the odometer, this Spyder is now available for auction by its seller out of Ohio.
The 718 Spyder showcases a GT4-derived front fascia, rear diffuser, and side air scoops, along with a ducktail-style rear spoiler and a unique double-fairing rear deck lid concealing the manually operated convertible top. This example features a Moss Green Teckwrap over its factory GT Silver Metallic finish, complemented by a black soft top. Optional equipment includes LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), a Satin Black rear “PORSCHE” logo, and 20” GT4 wheels finished in Satin Platinum and mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The seller notes that paint protection film was applied prior to wrapping, and a full ceramic coating has been applied over the wrap. A clean CARFAX report and detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the driver is greeted with black leather and Alcantara complemented by black brushed aluminum trim. Options include heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, a heated leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, the BOSE Surround Sound System, Apple CarPlay with Siri, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell. A Black Forest Industries weighted shift knob has also been fitted.
Factory-rated at 414 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque, the mid-mounted 4.0-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and a Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) limited-slip differential. A track-tuned and lowered version of Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) comes standard along with a front axle and brakes derived from the 911 GT3. Flat 6 Motorsports heat shield over-axle pipes and a Cargraphic valve controller have been installed, and the CARFAX report shows five service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and a toolkit.

Curious what the reserve was?
Wow what a spec!!!
Bowing out of this one, but love to see this move into $100k. Whoever wins this is picking up a perfect spec Spyder with the right color wrap + mods. GLWA

I also bought a Foxwell NT530 scan tool to pull the DME data for you guys, only to find out that 718 Spyders specifically have to go to Porsche to view precisely just the specific range data, the scan tool does everything else as it does with every other Porsche. Still great to have so I will throw it in as well.

Hi everyone, I have just added some additional photos of the undercarriage, as well as some additional items included with the sale, including but not limited to: Factory OAP’s, stock shift knob, 2 keys, 2 cargraphic valve controller remotes, Porsche vent brush. I will also throw in a wireless CarPlay unit if the buyer wants it. Again, the lien is released once the reserve is met. While I prefer everyone wait until the last minute to bid so the price goes through the roof, a serious early bid will knock out competitors and lower the sales price. It’s also your best chance to take delivery of the title with the car. This car will not be going to the deal tank nor any other platform at the conclusion of this auction.

@gbirge it looks like a little water probably got in there. I just hit it with a little bit of heat and squeegeed it down. It’s 1/2”-3/4” back underneath the edge of the tail light. You can’t see anything on the driver’s side, but if you squat down and look from beneath the tail lights you can see the edge on the passenger side. Each time I go to the photos they come up in a different order. In the pictures of side and 3/4 views that were taken in my neighborhood instead of the park, you’re seeing a reflection of the top of the tree line on the tail light lens. The pictures of the tail lights specifically show you the before and after.
very similar spec/miles sans wrap - closest comp I could find in 2025

Hi @Cartman021 - what's going on with the wrap around the tail lights (pics 21 & 22)...?
Thanks,
Greg
@Boulder74 The last one I personally saw was from the date of my purchase. There were no over revs reported during any subsequent reads during each visit you see on the carfax. I am working to get a current one Tuesday or Wednesday for you guys.
Beautiful Spyder - I may have missed it but do you have a DME report showing any potential over-revs?
@westhigh There is an astute loan on the vehicle that will be paid upon the first bid to meet the reserve.
Hello?
Does ‘clean title (lien)’ mean there is a lien on
on the car?
@01s2 right you are! Missed that small detail on the carfax.
Hey all! Just returned from a visit to the owner's house. Fabulous car! Just as advertised, well taken care of. He was very friendly, and he accommodated me with a long test drive. Car is amazing! The open top, open exhaust (perfect volume with the valve open) and manual transmission sensory experience is second to none. So much fun.
@Damaho912 Unfortunately you can’t PTS a used car from the factory!
The color is gorgeous but for about the price of the wrap, I would imagine you could have done a PTS in the same color.
I did upload rollers and start ups that we filmed with the photographer to the listing. The sound overwhelmed the mic on his camera, so only his backups with his iPhone captured them and they probably weren’t up to PCAR’s media standards, nor an accurate representation. I’m devastated because the sound is everything. The start ups are wicked and the rev-matched downshifts sound bananas. I’ll see what we can get added here or otherwise uploaded to YouTube for you guys. We should also have some testimonials from the prospective bidders coming by to check it out this weekend and hopefully I’ll be able to use those extra hands to get some more clips.
@List-Renn Thank you for the kind words. I honestly don’t know if it will sell as listing a wrapped car is such a wildcard. In the spirit of full transparency, the obvious answer is that I’m chasing the demand my car helped create that the special wishes nato olive car recently captured. I’m sure there are lots of guys (maybe/hopefully even the same guy) who’d love to have a version of that car but with comfort and heated everything, much less usage and overall ownership anxiety, less controversial wheels, and all of the fun-killers already remedied. Some locals bidders are coming by today to check it out and they will see my dilemma with the layout of my garage. In order to keep it through the winter I’d need to install an autostacker lift specifically, at 2-3x the cost of any other home storage lift solution. In addition to the lift, if it doesn’t sell, I will be adding a set of HRE 522M’s, hands down the best wheels for Spyders & CGTs. Essentially this is purely an exercise in due diligence prior to potentially spending $25,000, and I wanted to list it while it’s still 100% perfect all the way around.
Oh, need a cold start vid and valves locked open/closed.
Gorgeous ride.
Perfect combination of sexy and bad arse.
My Miami Blue one is a keeper.
Why are you selling?
@gbirge Thank you for the questions! I have both fobs, and they each have the same livery. The #1 thing to know about 718’s in general is that the factory valve button essentially does nothing, even if you have it pressed the valves automatically close from 1800 to 4500 RPM. The valve controller gives you complete control of fully open and then if you turn the valve controller “off” the factory button will do what it does. I would honestly recommend just pulling and capping the hoses for any stock 718 4L owners. I did the clear side markers. Factory OAP’s, air filters, and side markers come with the car. The BMC filters are the main differentiator between the GT3’s and the RS’s. This car cracks on cold and warm starts are nice combos of the 981 Spyder sounds combined with the 4L masculinity. The ppf was done at Esoteric prior to my ownership. I will not be uploading wrap receipts.
Very nice spyder! Does the exhaust valve controller connect/operate per factory inputs or is it a manual open/close with some type of remote...?
Two key fobs or one?
Can you post or provide docs/receipts for the PPF and the wrap...?
Did you retain the stock exhaust/side markers and are they included in the sale?
Thanks,
Greg
I will absolutely accept Bitcoin.
@moorewithwheels Hi, the wrap was installed in the summer of 2023. I can’t post the links here but you can lookup CG-23HD on Teckwrap’s website to learn all about the film. The shine is incredible. It doesn’t get much better than zero metallic with zero orange peel.
There is full car ppf under the wrap, and there is a ceramic coating on top of the wrap. For what it’s worth anymore, there was a ceramic coating beneath the wrap as well.
There are zero imperfections in the paint and body. Someone else in my town bought a GT Silver Spyder. It’s not uncommon to go Buckeye themed around here, but at that point I wanted to mix it up.
I certainly understand that it’s quite controversial to list a wrapped car, but this is a virtually brand new Porsche in a standout color, spiced up just right. If there’s anything extra anyone needs to see I’m happy to add additional media. It won’t be for everyone, but if anyone likes the color this will probably be a pretty good deal for them. Obviously I’m hoping I get lucky and 2 people like it.
When was the wrap installed and were there any scratches or paint work?
