Limited to just 750 units, the Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro takes the powerful twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 and agile rear-drive chassis of the AMG GT and optimizes them for even greater track performance. It features manually adjustable coilovers, active drivetrain mounts, a carbon fiber roof, carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber bucket seats, lightweight forged wheels, and a revised aerodynamic package with an active front splitter. This 2020 example is finished in Designo Selenite Grey Magno over a Black Nappa leather and Dinamica interior with yellow contrast stitching and AMG carbon fiber trim. It was also optioned with the Burmester Surround Sound System, Lane Tracking Package, Executive Interior Package, and yellow seatbelts. Fortified with a replacement engine and accompanied by a transferrable Mercedes-Benz warranty valid until 2027, this AMG GT R Pro was previously sold on PCARMARKET and is now being offered for auction out of New York with just over 20k miles on the odometer.
The AMG GT R Pro distinguishes itself from the standard GT R with an active aerodynamic front splitter featuring aluminum supports and canards, carbon fiber fenders with GT3-inspired vents, an enlarged rear diffuser, side skirts, an exposed carbon fiber roof, and a revised gurney flap rear wing. A set of 19”/21” AMG Performance twin 5-spoke lightweight forged wheels are equipped as standard. This example is finished in Selenite Grey Magno complemented with optional green GT R Pro stripes and matching custom graphics. In addition to the fitment of a Renntech carbon fiber rear wing lip, full paint protection film and XPEL windshield film have been applied. It rides on Michelin tires mounted approximately 3k miles ago. Track use is reported, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cockpit is appointed in an Exclusive Black Nappa leather and Dinamica suede upholstery contrasted with yellow stitching, optional yellow seatbelts, and AMG carbon fiber trim. Other options include the Burmester Surround Sound System and the Lane Tracking Package which adds blind spot and lane-keeping assistants. The car comes standard with dual-zone automatic climate control, AMG floor mats and door sills, an AMG full Dinamica performance steering wheel, heated AMG performance seats with memory, a 12.2” digital instrument cluster, COMAND navigation, Apple CarPlay, front and rearview cameras, Parktronic, and Attention Assist. Beneath the hood lies a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter M178 V8 engine, producing 577 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 7-speed AMG Speedshift DCT transmission, a carbon fiber composite driveshaft, a carbon fiber torque tube, and an AMG electric limited-slip differential. Performance highlights include AMG Dynamic Select with Race mode, rear-wheel steering, adjustable AMG sports suspension, an AMG high-performance compound braking system, AMG active drivetrain mounts, AMG traction control, and an AMG titanium exhaust system. The seller notes the original engine was replaced under the previous owner approximately 9k miles ago due to mechanical failure. At 20k miles, a B Service was performed at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, including an engine oil, transmission oil, and rear differential oil change at a cost of $2k. A few questions:
1. The previous bidder had asked how many miles of track use, not when was the last time it was tracked.
1. This car was tracked only couple of times by previous owner it had maximum 5 full days on the track it had aftermarket Girodisc Brakes and Rotors while on the track because of that reason Original Carbon Ceramic Rotors And Brakes are Absolutely in Excellent condition (Almost Brand New) this is what Mercedes Of Fort Lauderdale Of Florida told me just 2 month ago.
2. I didn’t see any paperwork for the engine replacement.
I just did not upload them it does really specify anything except milage which was 10,000 Miles and it says engine replaced, If you purchase the car I will be happy to give you all the service records and documents with the car.
3. Did the engine fail at the track? You mentioned the last time it was tracked was at 10k miles which is roughly the same time the engine was replaced.
No the engine did not fail at the track it failed while driving normal deriving in the streets again TURBO SUCKED SOMETHING LIKE A RUG!
4. Any photos of the undercarriage and carbon lower diffuser (front and rear) under the car?
NO I DO NOT HAVE IT AT THIS TIME I AM NOT NEXT TO THE CAR BUT UNDERCARRIAGE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!
5. Window sticker says yellow seat belts, but I don’t see any seat belts in the photos. Are the factory yellow seat belts installed?
YES THE SEATBELTS ARE THERE IN THE CAR WHEREVER THEY SUPPOSED TO BE IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE PHOTOS CLOSER YOU WILL SEE THEM THEY ARE JUST HIDDEN. I ACTUALLY LOVE THE LOOK OF THE RACING HARNESS THATS WHY I KEPT THEM THE WAY THEY ARE.
6. Does the Renntech rolbar install in the factory rollbar mounting points? Was anything modified to make the rollbar fit?
YES RENNTECH ROLBAR IS DIRECT BOLT ON, NOTHING HAS BEEN MODIFIED!
7. Do you have the factory carbon crossbar that was removed when the rollbar was installed?
YES I DO HAVE IT CARBON CROSSBAR AND WILL INCLUDE IT IN THE SALE.
8. Are both keys and car cover included?
YES 2 KEYS AND GARAGE CHARGER PLUG IS INCLUDED. NO CAR COVER I DO NOT HAVE IT!
9. Why is there a break in the green stripe on the front of the hood? Is this the factory stripe or aftermarket? The window sticker shows stripe option but is the PPF over the stripes?
THE CAR HAD AN AMG STICKER ON THE HOOD WHICH I REMOVED AND I LIKED THE WAY IT LOOKS NOW AND DID NOT BOTHER INSTALLING THE NEW STRIPES. NO PPF IS UNDER THE STRIPES SO YOU CAN EASILY REMOVE THE STRIPES AND REPLACE THEM IF YOU WOULD LIKE.
10. Any pits or cracks in the windshield before the xpel was installed?
XPEL WAS IN STALLED ON THE CAR WINDSHIELD, WHENEVER THE CAR WAS OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP IN 2020 SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CRACKS OR PITS ON THE WINDSHIELD.

@eddled This vehicle I purchased at the auction for an amazing price, car is absolutely in mint condition I was actually very surprised after my purchase. There is only one closer to this milage that's on the market in the USA which has 15,000 miles and costs $200,000. I am hoping to get somewhere around that price for this car as well. THE BIG PLUS ON THIS GTR PRO IS IT'S MERCEDES ORIGINAL WARRANTY THAT NON OF THE AMG GTR PRO'S HAVE EXCEPT THIS ONE IN THE USA, EXPIRES YEAR OF 2027 OR 75,000 MILES WHICHEVER COMES FIRST, THIS IS A VERY BIG POSITIVE THING ABOUT THIS CAR THAT YOU CAN HAVE A PIECE OF MIND.
GOD FORBID IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG MECHANICALLY ON THE THIS BEAST YOU ARE 100% COVERED.

@MCCOYAutoBrokers Just uploaded receipts from last visit at Mercedes Dealership which was on May 15th, 2024 about 2 month ago. Did service B and additional services which is Oil change, rear differential oil, transmission oil at 20,000 Miles paid about $1,800 before lisitng car online, I like everything to be 100% perfect for the new owner!

@ralt12 Engine was replaced due to: Turbo chewed up some rug and went to the engine and damaged it, it was replaced at 10K miles. Engine was replaced under the warranty which extends and is still valid until 2027, a major plus for a new owner!
What were the circumstances requiring a replacement engine ?
