The flagship of McLaren’s Super Series model range, the 720S debuted in 2017 featuring a lighter and stiffer carbon fiber monocoque chassis than its predecessor along with a new ProActive Chassis Control II active suspension system and a twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 710 HP. This 2020 example is a 720S Spider finished in Belize Blue over a Black Alcantara interior. It comes equipped with 19”/20” split-spoke wheels, 360-degree Park Assist, carbon ceramic brakes, a sports exhaust system, an active rear spoiler, a retractable hardtop, heated and power-adjustable seats, a folding LCD driver display, a vehicle lift system, and more. Purchased new by the current owner at McLaren Philadelphia, this 720S is now being offered for auction out of New York with less than 1k miles showing on the odometer.
The 720S is based upon McLaren’s carbon fiber Monocage II monocoque chassis which is shared with the exclusive McLaren Senna, Speedtail, and Elva models. It features aluminum and composite body panels as well as dihedral doors, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, full LED headlamps, and an active rear spoiler with an airbrake. This 720S Spider is finished in Belize Blue, a $5,270 option from McLaren’s Elite Paint collection. It includes a black carbon fiber retractable hardtop, optional front and rear parking sensors, soft close doors, sports exhaust, and yellow brake calipers mounted behind silver 19”/20” split-spoke wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cockpit is trimmed in Black Alcantara upholstery with optional heated and power-operated memory seats. Other accessories include a leather flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters, an optional electric steering column, 360-degree Park Assist, dual-zone automatic climate control, McLaren-branded floor mats, a vehicle lift system, a 12-speaker audio system, a folding LCD driver display, and a portrait touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Bluetooth.
The 720S is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter M840T V8 mated to a 7-speed McLaren dual-clutch Seamless Shift Gearbox (SSG) with an open differential and Brake Steer. Up to 710 HP and 568 lb.-ft. of torque is sent to the rear wheels, launching the 720S Spider from 0-60 MPH in under 3 seconds with a top speed of 212 MPH. Standard features include dry-sump lubrication, two-piece carbon ceramic disc brakes, independent double-wishbone suspension, electro-hydraulic variable-ratio power steering, and variable settings for the powertrain, transmission, damping, and traction control. The seller indicates an oil change was completed in October 2023.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a car cover, and a clean title.

Thanks to all who participated in our auction. We just couldn't get there today!
@Cherche-pepite Thanks for the kind words. I happen to be in the camp that appreciates the lack of "carbon everywhere" and some may say that carbon fiber, when used as a design element, is overused today. In this 720S my eyes are drawn toward the beauty and functionality of design versus carbon bits. Just my opinion :)
We wish good luck to all who wish to own this 720S and look forward to placing in its next home.

It is indeed a very pretty 720S Spider but, unfortunately, appears to have none of the carbon fiber options for which McLaren is justifiably famous and which enhance both the look and, to a limited extent, the performance of their cars.
Nonetheless, I'm quite sure that it will make the winner a very happy camper. These are fantastic cars that run circles around so much of the supercar competition!

Good morning all, just a couple of hours left on our 720S Spider auction.
This has to be one of the nicest 720S Spiders around and is practically new with just over 800 miles. Belize Blue is not only rare but extremely beautiful. It is an absolutely lovely and elegant spec that is somehow even more stunning in person.
There's not much else to remark because it is as-new, has had one owner from new, has exceptionally low mileage and is a wonderful spec. If you have been looking for a 720S, this is bar-none the one to have. Bid with passion and confidence. We will be here through the end of the auction to address any last moment questions.
Good luck to all.
