This one-off 2020 Ferrari 488 Pista was delivered new to Scottsdale Ferrari of Pheonix, Arizona, and was special ordered through Ferrari’s Atelier program with a long list of custom options totaling over $562k including a Bianco Italia exterior finish with a two-tone livery stripe in Rubino Micalizzato and Nero, Bianco Italia “dreamline” trim on the side of the front spoiler, side sill panels, and rear diffuser, optional carbon fiber exterior components in exposed gloss red, a Nero leather interior with Bordeaux Alcantara accents, contrast stitching, and a matching headliner, custom floormats, gloss red carbon fiber interior trim, a front suspension lifter, Advanced Frontlight System (AFS) adaptive headlights, Scuderia fender shields, carbon fiber wheels, carbon fiber racing seats with seat lifters, a high-power Hi-Fi audio system, and much more. Benefitting from a recent service and the application of full-body paint protection film and ceramic coating, this 488 Pista is now being offered at auction by the seller out of California with approximately 1950 miles on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Bianco Italia (226027) an Extra Companario premium color, with a painted two-tone racing livery stripe in Rubino Micalizzato and edges in Nero. The “Dreamline” trim was ordered in Bianco Italia and can be seen along the edges of the front spoiler, side skirts, and the horizontal part of the rear diffuser. A number of optional exterior carbon fiber parts were selected and are finished in exposed gloss red carbon, including the front bumper flaps, side air splitters, rear diffuser, front air vents, and engine covers. Additional exterior options consist of gloss black brake calipers with white Ferrari script, Scuderia fender shields, AFS auto-leveling and adaptive LED headlights, and black tailpipe tips. The optional 20” carbon fiber wheels wear carbon fiber center caps and are mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The custom interior features large-sized gloss red carbon fiber-backed racing seats with optional lifters, upholstered in Nero leather with Bordeaux contrast stitching and Alcantara centers, Bianco leather stripes with Bordeaux contrast stitching, and Bianco Cavallino emblems embroidered in the headrests. Custom gloss red exposed carbon fiber trim adorns the driver’s zone, the tachometer bezel, the dashboard air vents, steering wheel, shift paddles, door sills, and door panels. The headliner is trimmed in Bordeaux Alcantara, while the a-pillars, windscreen cross member, center console panels, door pulls, and sun visors are covered in Nero leather. The Nero leather-wrapped steering wheel features Bordeaux inner contrast stitching, an LED tachometer, a Bianco 12 o’clock marking, a push-button ignition, and the mannetino button to select multiple driving modes. Details include a Bianco leather strip spanning across the dashboard, Bianco leather with Bordeaux contrast stitching on the top of the door storage nets, black Alcantara floormats with Bianco 488 Pista logos, drilled aluminum pedals, a white rev counter, and white F1 button housings in Bianco Italia. Amenities include dual LED driver information screens, a high-power JBL sound system, a radio navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity, a front suspension lifter system, heat-insulating glass, inner and outer power mirrors, a parking camera, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Housed under custom optional gloss red engine covers is the Pista’s dry-sump 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 that generates up to 710 HP at 8,000 RPM, using upgraded camshafts, a larger intercooler, strengthened pistons, titanium connecting rods, and thin-walled Inconel exhaust manifolds borrowed from the 488 Challenge race car. The rear wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission which allows for gear changes in as little as 30 milliseconds when the race mode is engaged. The Pista can accelerate to 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 2.8 seconds while reaching a top speed of 225 MPH as claimed by Ferrari. Thanks to the extensive use of lightweight aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber, the Pista weighs almost 200 lbs. less than the standard 488 GTB, giving the Pista the lowest power-to-weight ratio of any production car in Ferrari history. The Pista incorporates a host of Formula One-inspired race technology like the Side-Slip Angle Control system, an E-Diff electronic differential, Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer traction control, CCM3 Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, and a magnetorheological active suspension that allows the driver to explore the upper echelons of the Pista’s impressive performance. This 488 Pista is reported to be up to date on all routine maintenance and was recently serviced by Ferrari of Silicon Valley in March of 2022.
This sale will include 2 keys, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, a car cover, a battery charger, and a photo book detailing the vehicle’s construction at the Ferrari facility in Maranello.

May be just a pet peeve, but I'd prefer a high power to weight ratio, ergo low weight to power.

@C3 thanks for your comment! It really is an incredible display of how to configure one of these!
Beautiful example! Very well appointed.
I’d love to see the window sticker or build sheet for this one. Whoever spec’ed it, it was clearly not their first Ferrari.
