The M2 CS was introduced in 2019 as a lightweight, performance-oriented version of the F87 M2, equipped with a twin-turbocharged S55 engine derived from the BMW M3/M4, a carbon-fiber roof and hood, carbon fiber aerodynamics, lightweight wheels, standard M Adaptive suspension, M Active Differential, and specially tuned M Dynamic Stability Control and M Dynamic Mode. This 2020 example was ordered in Misano Blue Metallic over black leather and Alcantara interior, optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission. This low-mileage M2 CS was initially delivered to Advantage BMW Midtown, Texas, and was kept as part of a private collection upon arrival. It has since made its way to Arizona where it is now being offered for auction showing under 3k miles on the odometer.
This F87 was specified in Misano Blue Metallic (C1D) and high-gloss black Shadowline trim, featuring an exposed carbon-fiber roof, front splitter, mirror caps, side skirt extensions, and a trunk lip spoiler, and a finned rear diffuser. The 19” light alloy Style 763 wheels are finished in Gold and wear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The seller adds that carbon fiber winglets have been installed ahead of the rear wheel arches, and a minor imperfection is present on the underside of the front spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The driver is situated with black leather seat upholstery with Alcantara trim, red contrast stitching, and CS insignias on the dashboard and rear seats, accented by carbon fiber trim on the dash, center console, and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable and heated front seats with debossed M badges, seat belts with tri-color Motorsport stitching, dual-zone automatic climate control, Harman Kardon audio, and iDrive with navigation and Apple CarPlay.
The M2 CS is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged S55 inline-six producing up to 444 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and Active M limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in just 3.9 seconds, reaching an electronically-limited top speed of 155 MPH. Performance features include M adaptive suspension, model-specific Dynamic Stability Control and M Dynamic Mode, forged aluminum wheel hubs and control arms, a carbon fiber transmission tunnel, M Performance brakes, and an active exhaust system. The seller adds that an Active Autoworks mid-pipe has been installed. Routine maintenance has been carried out, with a recent oil and filter change in June of 2022.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and factory wheel bolt locks.

@AzEuros Thanks for checking on the break-in service. Did the dealer, by any chance, provide the work order showing what was done so you could upload it? Thanks.
I called the BMW dealer with the VIN. He confirmed the 1708 miles service was the break in service, and the diff service was done in that service. This was done 5/28/2021. He confirmed no warranty issues with the car. The car was covered under warranty on June of 2022 for the scheduled maintenance performed a year later. Happy bidding.
@BimmerAgent I can not say if it was done or not. We didn't own the vehicle at that time. It is very possible it has been done. If it were done at a dealership that doesn't report to Carfax, then we wouldn't know (which is a possibility). It is possible a BMW dealership could look into the VIN and see if it has been done. Unfortunately, all I have is Carfax to go off of to answer that question, and we could probably agree that Carfax is not the most accurate guide. It may have been done at 1700 miles.
@AzEuros So from the info available, it appears that the break-in service, recommended by BMW to be done at around 1200 miles, was not completed. The oil and filter were changed at 1700 miles (per Carfax,) and the differential fluid has not been changed at all. Is that correct? It seems weird that Chapman would change the oil and filter, but not do the diff. Any idea how this impacts future warranty?
@BimmerAgent the car was in possession of the 1st owner at that point, so the car was in NV at that time. According to Carfax, at 1700 miles BMW of Henderson did an oil and filter change.
OK, so did Chapman do the break-in service at 1200 miles? I think that's an oil & filter change, and the differential fluid change.
@BimmerAgent I called down to Chapman BMW on Camelback in Phoenix. They are the BMW dealer that did the scheduled maintenance back in June of 2022. They gave me the following information. The Scheduled Maintenance Plan on the M2 is good for 3yr/36k from the in service date of 12/28/2020. The Maintenance plan upgrade (which I believe is what you may be referring to by the Ultimate Care Package) was not included/purchased for this car. The car has the Scheduled Maintenance plan, and has the ability to upgrade or purchase the Maintenance Plan Upgrade. As noted on the window sticker, it is still covered under the Factory 4yr/50k warranty also. As to the questions regarding the Carfax instances where AZ Euros shows doing maintenance on the car; we did not do any services on the car. The car was delivered to our shop when the 2nd owner purchased the vehicle. We did lift it and inspect it upon arrival, which may be the reason it shows on Carfax. If the VIN was put into our internal invoicing software, it automatically generated a Carfax history report, but no work was done. BMW Chapman did the maintenance work, since it was free and covered under warranty.
The carfax shows 2 instances of service by AzEuros, but nothing is noted as to the work performed. Can you elaborate on the services and/or post receipts for those instances? Can you confirm that the break-in services were performed? What is the in-service date? Does the Ultimate Care package transfer to the new owner? Thanks.
@garrege The window sticker has been added to the gallery. My apologies for not having that already uploaded.

Can you post a picture of the window sticker?

@BimmerAgent This car does not have PPF or ceramic coat applied. The only modification to the car would be the Active Autowerke midpipe
Are there any mods, such as PPF, ceramic coating, etc? Thanks.
Agreed! Very fun car to drive. This one will make someone very happy.

@RSFanboy - Agreed. I had two allocations for 1M's and let them both go since my modified 135i was more exciting to drive. Would love one of these, though (unfortunately don't have the garage space right now!). This one's a real beauty and the buyer will undoubtedly love it.
These cars are phenomenal. I actually own one of each: an MT and a DCT. One of the best if not the best BMW since the E46 M3. I prefer these over the 1Ms.
