@rocketman on second look, the 4 tires are brand new, but the Hankook’s were an OEM factory equipment tire .
@rocketman we bought the car straight from an Audi dealer and the car came with the brand new hankooks. While I am not sure why, on a personal note, when I had to replace a tire due to a nail in sidewall on my R8, with 3k miles, it was recommended by the dealer that I replace all 4 due to the awd system. I had bought the tire and wheel package, so I said let her rip! It’s entirely possible this was also the case here. But I am only assuming.
Hankook makes a solid tire, and we are happy this one had 4 new tires when it arrived, and we believe the new owner will as well.
