Available for auction is this 2020 Ariel Atom 3RS, one of the most exclusive and powerful Atoms built to date. Under the license of TMI AutoTech, Ariel built this example with the driving purist in mind. The turbocharged 2.4-liter inline-four generates 425 HP to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. The 3RS features a tube-frame chassis, carbon-fiber wings, an air duct inlet, an adjustable suspension, and staggered-width 16”/17” alloy wheels. Reported to be one of less than 15 examples built, this Ariel Atom 3RS is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of Maryland with under 1k miles on the odometer.
This Ariel Atom 3RS features a powder-coated chassis in Satin Black with an Ariel Silver body, hand-laid gel-coated composite body panels, and a laminated safety glass windscreen with a wiper. A set of carbon-fiber wings at the front and rear accommodate aerodynamics, as does the sizeable air duct inlet between the headrests. The Atom 3RS Signature Wheel Package equips staggered-width 5-spoke 16”/17” alloy wheels painted in Satin Black and dressed in Toyo R888R tires.
The cockpit is appointed with fixed-back bucket Marine-grade leatherette seats, Willans harnesses, red Diamond/Q-Citura center stitching, and matching embroidered headrest logos. The interior also features a fire suppression system, a Tilton adjustable aluminum pedal box, a 12v power outlet, and a storage pouch. The dashboard is presented in carbon fiber and features a digital gauge display, a removable flat-bottom steering wheel wrapped in suede, and a modification to include auto-blip controls.
The Atom 3RS is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter Honda inline-four, generating 425 HP and 365lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. Features include forged pistons with performance-spec rings, H-beam connecting rods, and performance-spec head gasket, studs, intercooler, and piping. Also equipped are a short-run intake manifold, forged performance ratio gearsets, a lightweight flywheel, and JRi double adjustable dampers. Stopping power is provided by Alcon Motorsport four-piston calipers, the 290mm Alcon Big Brake Kit with floating vented discs, and cockpit adjustable front and rear brake bias. The seller notes that the car has seen one track day since the original purchase.
This sale will include a clean title.

@AK9eleven I'm not familiar with the car registration laws in Georgia. If it's not street legal there, you could always register it in Montana as many people do with their exotics regardless of where they reside. There are many service providers who can assist with Montana registration. A helmet wouldn't be required in any state.
Do you know if street legal in Georgia? Is a helmet required to drive it on public roads ? Thanks
Bid in the amount of $30,000
@beercan69 I had it registered in Washington DC for a short period although technically it was not street legal here. It's street legal in some states, not in others. There's always the Montana option for registering regardless of the state you reside.
@DriverguyTX No service work has been done or is needed. The car is in perfect condition.
Any service work either done or needed that you’re aware of? Issues of any sort? Thx.
Has it ever been registered as a street legal vehicle? Thanks. GLWS!
We want a driving video!!!! Oh well...I'll check Youtube. I had one on deposit many years ago and the seller sold it out from under me. Grrrr... I can't think of something more fun for Angeles Crest Hiway.
I have a 3RS and can tell bidders there are few, if any experiences like driving an Atom. GLWA! Nice spec!
