Finished in Jet Black Metallic over a Black leather interior, this 2019 Porsche 991.2 Targa 4S was originally configured at an approximate cost of $157k including a 7-speed PDK transmission, 20” RS Spyder Design wheels, the BOSE Surround Sound System, the Sport Chrono Package, and the Premium Package Plus. It also features the Deviating Stitching Interior Package, interior trim in carbon fiber, the BOSE Surround Sound System, Lane Change Assist, SportDesign exterior mirrors, painted side skirts, tinted taillights, and much more. Showing less than 41k miles on the odometer, this Targa 4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This example is finished in Jet Black Metallic with a black roof panel, silver Targa band, and a wraparound glass rear window. Optional appointments include SportDesign mirrors, painted side skirts, tinted taillights, and 20” RS Spyder Design wheels with colored Porsche crested wheelcaps. It rides on Pirelli P Zero tires from 2021 reportedly remaining in very good condition. The seller adds that black Targa badging has been fitted along with silver Porsche-lettered side stripes. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, and the CARFAX report notes minor damage, which the seller reports to have been cosmetic damage that has been repaired.
The cabin presents Black leather upholstery complemented by carbon fiber trim and the optional Interior Deviated Stitching Package. Other optional details include instrument dials in White, the Spirt Chrono stopwatch dial in White, steering column casing in leather, and Porsche-crested headrests. Selected amenities encompass Lane Change Assist (LCA), a heated multifunction steering wheel, Power Steering Plus, the BOSE Surround Sound System, and 14-way Power Sport Seats with Memory included in the Premium Package Plus which also adds the Light Design Package, seat heating & ventilation, Porsche Entry & Drive, auto-dimming mirrors, and upgraded LED headlights in Black with PDLS+. The seller notes the tire pressure warning is illuminated due to an uncalibrated sensor.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine produces up to 450 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque sent to all four wheels by way of a 7-speed PDK transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in approximately 4 seconds and on to a top speed of 188 MPH. This Targa 4S also comes equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package. The CARFAX report shows a total of 7 service history records.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This vehicle passed a California emissions test in August 2023.”

@aslan911 Hello- the service documents I have are uploaded to view. The latest inspection report was not supplied by Porsche. The inspection was 09/2023 at 40k miles.
Allenmotors, do you have the latest inspection report? Thank you.
@studiogray Welcome back! As any fresh eyes can see (that are actually interested in our Targa at auction), I have answered each question for you and the video you requested has also been uploaded to view. Your recent comment is unnecessary. Best of luck on bidding...rather than just "keeping an eye on this one."
Been keeping an eye on this one. Even with the extra day it doesn’t look like it’s going to move. P.S. never saw the video of the targa function. Be careful bidding on this car. The seller is not forthcoming.
Not sure it makes any difference to the comments, but the 2017 is a 991.2 also. It’s the first year of the updated car. Either way it’s a fun car.
2017 is a 991, and the previous generation. This is a 991.2 with a redesigned engine, and body design- more defined & refined on every level from the last generation.
a 2017 just sold on here with a clean cf albeit higher miles for my bid here..I think we are close in value; but the market will decide.
@allenmotors , ok thank you.
@studiogray Hello again @studiogray! The previous owner of this Targa had intentions to trade-in the vehicle at the local Porsche dealership and they arranged an inspection/service. Soon after, the previous owner chose to make alternate arrangements and brought the car to us. We have not received these records from the dealership Service Advisor, but it is noted on CarFax.
@allenmotors ,please upload the service records from SEPT '23.
@studiogray The rear bumper was replaced and not 'patched.'
@studiogray We arranged the listing on BAT and the car did not sell. PCarMarket has a great Porsche following and we're pleased to have our Targa currently live at auction.
@allenmotors , so rear bumper was replaced or patched?
@studiogray The vehicle was serviced in SEPT '23 prior to arriving to us.
Video of Targa roof in operation has been uploaded at your request. There have been no issues with the mechanics of the roof while we've had the car. The system works flawlessly and is a work-of-art in motion.
The minor damage reported on CarFax was a scuff mark to the left of the rear license plate. There are no paint meter readings due to the rear bumper being plastic.
@allenmotors , it appears this car was listed on BAT in May 2024 out of Westlake Village, CA and "not sold ~91K" - how did you end up with it?
Please provide details and pictures of all cosmetic defects (interior/exterior). I can see several on the images you've already provided. Unfortunately, you have not uploaded very many images and the car is not very clean. What additional information do you have about the minor damage that was reported in 8/2023? Can you provide any auto body records and/or paint meter readings where the repairs were done?
@allenmotors , so you have no service records after NOV 1 2022 @26K mi? Was the "Targa roof stuck open" ever addressed? Can you please provide continuous video of Targa roof open/close function?
@studiogray Thank you for following the Targa so closely and being an active bidder! Service records have been uploaded at your request.
@allenmotors , look this car has been sitting on you lot since October 2023. You obvi are having problems trying to sell it since you are listing it online. So this leads me to believe there's something about this car that you aren't being upfront about. If you want to sell this car I think you would do everything in your power to do so.
@allenmotors , So is it possible to blackout the personal details and upload them so I can see the inspection details.
@studiogray We have the service records from Porsche and as I'm sure you know they have customer/personal information on them. The records will be available for new owner and mirror the details listed on CarFax.
@allenmotors , so you don’t have the documents?
@studiogray Carfax (below) shows vehicle purchased as Porsche Approved Certified. Local Porsche dealership(s) hold additional service records.
