Now available for auction is this 2019 Porsche 991.2 Speedster presented in GT Silver Metallic over a black leather interior. As a final send-off to the 991 generation and a celebration of Porsche’s heritage, the GT3-based Speedster was built in a limited series of 1,948 examples as a reference to the first car ever built under the Porsche brand during 1948. Designated as #1,039, this 2019 example commanded an original sticker price of over $293k and is equipped with the Front Axle Lift System as well as a host of Exclusive details including illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, aluminum pedals, a center console lid with Porsche crest, and more. This Speedster is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York with just under 250 miles showing on the odometer.
This 991.2 is finished in GT Silver Metallic with a black convertible soft top and factory-applied transparent stone guards over the rear fenders. Like its predecessors, the latest Speedster model features a short and steeply raked windshield along with distinctive double-hump fairings over the rear section. This particular example also features SportDesign mirrors with optional lower trims in high gloss black, paint-matched headlight cleaner covers, and 20” GT3 center-lock wheels finished in gloss black. The optional Front Axle Lift System also allows the driver to raise and lower the nose for extra clearance.
Inside, the black leather interior has been adorned with full carbon-fiber bucket seats, illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, a center console lid with Porsche crest, and pedals in aluminum. Additional factory equipment includes a luggage net in the passenger footwell, a steering wheel with a 12 o’clock marker in red, the Chrono Package, and Light Design Package. The driver is supplied with two-zone automatic climate control, the Bose Surround Sound System, and auto-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor. A commemorative 70th-anniversary placard is also located between the two seats which includes the car's individual production number of 1039/1948.
Based on the GT3, the 991.2 Speedster carries the same high-revving naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine which generates up to 502 HP. A mandated 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.8 seconds. The same rigid lightweight chassis, steering, and suspension setup were also carried over from the GT3 and combined with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) that offer remarkable stopping power. There have been no outstanding maintenance items reported and CARFAX shows the last documented service and inspection to have been carried out in April of 2021 at 139 miles.
This sale will include owner's manuals, a set of two keys, and the original window sticker. A limited-production GT car offering a 6-speed manual transmission combined with an exhilarating open-air driving experience, the 991.2 is the latest Porsche to wear the iconic Speedster badge. Do not miss your chance to add this tastefully appointed, low-mileage 2019 example to your collection.

@medlaw @ medlar Sir, I can assure you the car is in as-new condition. with basically just delivery miles on the car, I see no need to do a DME report. However, if you would like to do a prepurchase inspection prior to bidding at your expense I’m happy to make arrangements for you.
A DME Report will go a long way in the sale. Not sure anyone would pay serious money without one. It only takes 5 minutes at the dealership. I will be happy to cover all costs even if I do not get the car.
Do you have a current DME report?

For what it's worth, I recall the upgrade cost was about $1200 for the black satin wheels on my gt3. Someone put a high value on the nice looking glossy wheels.
Bid in the amount of $150,000
@donutcritic I wish I can get that info , I tried , this is the only special wish I see on this Car is the wheels painted in black , and on a speedster it might be 6k n change , cuase we just built it on a 2021 turbo S painted wheels it was 5275
Is there any paperwork denoting Porsche painting the wheels black? Normally this isn't a $6625 cost. Are there other Special Wishes items?
Do the three previous owners include dealers?
@allthingsporsches Thank you.
@Gman no sir , wheels painted in black is part of the special wishes on this car , it’s on the msrp As special wishes
Were the wheels changed? Window sticker states that they are silver?
No clear bra , yes all original , the car is brand new
Is all the paint original? Any clear Bra? Thanks.
