Unveiled in 2018 to celebrate Porsche’s 70th anniversary, the 991.2 Speedster pays tribute to the original 1948 Porsche 356 “No. 1” Roadster. Limited to just 1,948 units, it was developed for driving purists with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six and a 6-speed GT manual transmission. Distinguishing characteristics include a low-cut front windshield and a rear decklid with double-bubble streamliners, echoing the classic Speedster silhouette. This example is finished in Carrara White Metallic over Black leather with red stitching and features LED headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System, the Front Axle Lift System, BOSE® Surround Sound System, Chrono Package, dual-zone automatic climate control, and more. Showing approximately 4,200 miles on the odometer, this Speedster is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
The Speedster shares its bodyshell with the Carrera 4 Cabriolet and features a GT3-derived front and rear fascia, side, skirts, and dual-center-mounted exhaust outlets. It was also designed with a windshield lowered by 50mm and a manually folding soft top concealed beneath a 22 lb. carbon fiber twin-hump cover panel. Finished in Carrara White Metallic, this Speedster presents optional painted side skirts, LED headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), deviating headlight cleaning system covers, and carbon fiber upper mirror housings. Additionally, the Front Axle Lift System allows the nose of the vehicle to be raised front for extra clearance over obstacles. Other details include yellow ceramic brake calipers, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and 20” GT3 center-lock wheels refinished in silver. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is welcomed by a Black leather interior with red stitching, carbon fiber trim, and full carbon fiber bucket seats. Options include a steering wheel with a 12 o’clock marker in red, Guards Red seatbelts, pedals and footrest in aluminum, a fire extinguisher, illuminated carbon fiber door sill guards, and a Chrono Package stopwatch dial atop the dashboard. Additional selections include two-zone automatic climate control, the BOSE® Surround Sound System, Voice Control, the Light Design Package, auto-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, floor mats, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell. A numbered Speedster badge designates this example as #1420/1948. A radar detector has been professionally installed.
Adopted from the GT3, the Speedster’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine features individual throttle bodies, a titanium exhaust system, and an output of up to 502 HP and 346 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed GT Sport manual gearbox that provides acceleration from 0-60 MPH in less than 4 seconds. A limited-slip differential comes standard along with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), rear-axle steering, dynamic engine mounts, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV). An extended-range fuel tank (23.7 gal) was also opted for.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This stunning 991.2 Speedster is in excellent condition with no issues and is ready to be enjoyed by the new owner. It comes in Carrara White Metallic, which is one of the best-looking and rarest colors for the model. It is also equipped with the lightweight bucket seats, which are a must for this car for both looks and driving performance. The 991.2 Speedster, in the short seven years since it was released, has become one of the most sought-after modern-day collector cars. Only available with a 6-speed manual transmission, the car is essentially a GT3 without the roof. The engine on the Speedster is slightly tweaked compared to the GT3 and has individual throttle bodies, higher pressure direct injectors and a lighter exhaust system compared to the GT3.”

@PCARMARKET_MODERATOR Do you have more info on the detector itself (brand/model)? I assume this is an easily reversible mod? Thank you.
@SocalRS A new video has been added showing the radar detector in the cigarette lighter compartment.
Near perfect over rev report has been uploaded. Only a few revs in stage one. Porsches that are 997 and newer have six ranges of over revs that can be checked to determine if the engine has been over revved from an mis shift. Porsche dealers are not allowed to certify a car if it has over revs past stage four unless the car has been driven over 24 hours since the time of the over rev. Stage one, two and three are a non-issue and don’t Hurt the value of the car. This car is like new with only a few in stage one. Bid with confidence this is a collector grade example
@PCARMARKET_MODERATOR Also what is the control module behind the cigarette lighter (radar? jammer?)
Please respond to this with video asap as car in your office!

If you have any questions on this car please don’t hesitate to ask here or send us a message. Sorry for the late response I had been out of the country.
This color is NOT PTS - this is a standard color just to clarify.
But yes our instagram is @ptsforsale
I am a huge Porsche fan. I know that there are bigger collectors on this amazing site but I've owned more than 25 Porsches over the last 20 years. The Speedster is the perfect modern Porsche. I bought one new and put over 5,000 miles on it.
I regretfully traded it in on two incredible allocations, a 992 GT3 and a 718 Spyder. These were amazing vehicles but were not as special as my Speedster. I was able to trade both in on another Speedster and it is the best decision I made. The winner of this auction will not be disappointed.
@dukeyr I don't think it is. I see the charge of $720 and pts around this tie was $15000
my apologies if it's been asked, but is this color pts? i see the charge on the build sheet but i thought pts colors are far more expensive than that
Any PPF on the car?
