Now available for auction is this brand new 2019 Porsche 991 GT2 RS Clubsport presented in a factory Martini Racing livery. The ultimate offering from Porsche’s customer racing program, the 991.2 GT2 RS Clubsport was debuted in 2018 as a highly competitive track-only version of the road-going GT2 RS supercar. Marking #74 out of 200 examples built for the entire world, this never-before-raced Clubsport was originally imported to Miami, FL where it currently resides with only 5 delivery miles showing on the odometer. As previously listed on PCARMARKET, this GT2 RS Clubsport is now being offered for auction accompanied by a bill of sale and factory spare parts package.
This Clubsport is presented in its factory color of Pure White with Martini Racing livery. Having never been subjected to any driving conditions, the finish is said to be as new (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Assembled in Porsche’s Flacht motorsports facility alongside factory racecars, this Clubsport features carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) body panels as well as a large rear wing, front splitter, rear diffuser, and an exposed carbon fiber quick-release hood and rear decklid. The smooth carbon fiber underbody helps promote aerodynamic efficiency at high speeds. The roof is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber and includes an FIA-compliant hatch. Factory 18” center-lock wheels are equipped which come dressed in new Michelin tires. Additional sets of wheels and tires are also included in the factory spare parts package.
The driver is supplied with a lightweight racing cockpit complete with a fully integrated roll cage complying with FIA Homologation Regulations. Other features include a single Recaro racing seat with longitudinal adjustment and padding system, safety net mountings, a six-point safety harness, a Cosworth color display ICD with integrated data logger, a multifunction quick-release steering wheel with shift paddles, and a fire suppression system. An onboard 3-piston air jack system is also equipped for quick tire changes at the track. A limitation plaque located on the right side of the dashboard displays the car's individual production number of 74/200.
The GT2 RS Clubsport is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six engine sourced from its road-going counterpart. This engine features rigid mounts, a rear silencer with centered exhaust pipes, Porsche’s VarioCam Plus technology, and a race-optimized water injection system with an external filler. The performance-based 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission is paired with a mechanical differential lock and sends up to 700 HP to the rear wheels. The racing suspension includes spherical bearings, adjustable sword-type anti-roll bars, forged suspension links, and three-way ride height adjustable shock absorbers. Stopping power is handled by aluminum monobloc 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brake calipers clamping down on multi-piece vented and slotted steel rotors.
This GT2 RS is accompanied by a factory spare parts package which includes $15k worth of additional wheels, tires, extra brake components, and other spare parts. For those in search of the ultimate track-going driving experience, the GT2 RS Clubsport makes a clear choice.
