Showing approximately 31k miles on the odometer, this GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oregon.

The GTS bodywork includes widened fenders, SportDesign mirrors, tinted taillights, and black trim and lettering. This Coupe is finished in Racing Yellow and features the optional SportDesign Package, incorporating a revised front fascia and a more defined rear decklid spoiler. @Abad67 I just uploaded some close up photos of the calipers. There is zero bubbling on the outside caliper stickers. Also, a note worthy mention, the rotors have a nice shine to them indicating they have not been heat cycled and beat on. Most of the track cars we have seen with ceramic rotors - the rotors become more faded rather than shiny. When you press the pedal on worn out ceramics, they don't have that instant bite they should. When you press on the brakes of this car, it grabes as a ceramic brake should.
Thought I'd also mention, the pads have about 80% life left on them.

Regarding the factory QR code stickers on the back, I've seen these start to fall off on 15k mile cars that were driven in rain before...

@gpmotors pic 201 and 202, inside of the caliper. The factory QR code stickers can take heat from normal driving but track days cook them!

@Abad67 Where exactly do you see bubbling on the sticers?

  • Abad67 (registered bidder) 2 hours, 8 minutesago

@atlrvr I stand corrected! I've been out there and its always PDK, so I guess they changed that. I was surprised to read that considering the amount of people who cant drive a MT. You can tell this car has had some track time for sure based on the inside of the caliper. Those stickers Porsche puts on only bubble with some heavy heat!

@Abad67 maybe not anymore but they used to. Dug up this random review from 2019, that discusses.

There were these yellow GTS manual cars, and then at the same time 3-4 Guards Red 911 GTS PDK cars all on the market at the same time.

I'd be totally comfortable with the car, and as I mentioned, I tried to buy one of the yellow manual cars at the time. They we all CPO'd, fwiw

@atlrvr No way this is a "Barber" car, they don't use manuals for the track there only PDK cars.

@Richbob I'm fairly confident this was a Barber car for Porsche track experience. About 5-6 basically identical spec cars were for sale in fall of 2019. I made an offer on one at Porsche Jackson, but couldn't reach a deal. I once owned a Cayman S that was used at PEC Atlanta. Bought it with 17 miles, and it was flawless until I sold it at 62k miles (also had PCCB, and even with track life, still had greater than 50% life when I sold). I think being a track demo car cuts both ways. Yes, driven hard (as intended), but the best in the business taking care of these cars, no putting away wet, so to speak. Nothing worse for credibility than putting clients in a car that develops a mechanical issue.

Weird that the CARFAX starts at 6K miles, and doesn't list the number of owners; yet it seems to have been sold at least 4 times. The fact that it started in Birmingham makes me wonder if it was used at Barber Motorsport park...

Nice car, at the beginning of the add it says it has a 3.8 liter twin turbo charge engine. Below the engine compartment photo it says it has a 3.0 liter twin turbo engine. GLWTS
