The Mercedes Benz GLS-Class was introduced in 2015 as the successor to the GL-Class as the flagship vehicle in the marque’s SUV lineup. The GLS63 AMG debuted in 2013, equipped with a handbuilt twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8 producing 577 HP, a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT Plus, Brembo brakes, a sports exhaust, AMG interior and exterior styling, and an Active Ride Control adaptive air suspension. This 2019 4MATIC all-wheel drive example was ordered in Obsidian Black Metallic over a Black Exclusive Nappa leather interior, and was optioned with 22” AMG multispoke wheels with black accents, a trailer hitch, red brake calipers, an AMG Performance steering wheel, the AMG Night Package, and the Power Easy Entry system, at an original sticker price of over $130k. Benefitting from a lifetime of dealership and specialty shop maintenance, and remaining under the coverage of the Mercedes-Benz factory warranty until January of 2023, this 2019 GLS63 AMG 4MATIC is now being offered at auction by the seller based out of Virginia with just 19,290 miles showing on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic (197) and was optioned with the AMG Night Package, which equips gloss black trim on the front-apron underguard insert, grille crossbar trim, side mirrors, side window surrounds and roof rails, and the rear valance. The optional 22” AMG multispoke wheels with black accented are mounted with Yokohama PARADA Spec-X all-season tires that were said to have been installed this past winter, and an additional set of Pirelli P-Zero summer tires will accompany the sale.
The interior features multicontour heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, a second row 50/50 split bench seat, and a power third row that folds into the floor, upholstered in Black Exclusive Nappa leather with matching door panels, carpeting, and a black DINAMICA headliner. Anthracite Poplar wood trim lines the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include an optional AMG Performance leather-wrapped multifunction steering with DINAMICA grips, the Power Easy Entry system which moves the 2nd row forward to provide access to the rear third row, a COMAND infotainment display with navigation, Bluetooth, CD, and voice control, dual-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera system, a drilled aluminum pedal set, AMG-branded floor mats, and a power dual-pane panoramic sunroof. A set of Weathertech all-season floor mats have been added to the driver and passenger footwells, the second and third rows, and the rear cargo area.
The GLS63 AMG 4MATIC is powered by a handcrafted twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8, which was factory rated at 577 HP and 561 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT automatic transmission, which allows for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 174 MPH. What's the condition of the brakes or when were they last replaced?
@Ccoulter, non-smoking car? Any other odors (you mentioned no dogs)? Not a dealbreaker either way, but is the AMG steering wheel heated? We have a GLS 450 presently and it's an underrated feature!

@AK9eleven I have never had any issues what so ever with this car. I love the way MB AMG were able to blend a SUV and a performance sports car. The only reason I am selling it is that I did not want to do anything that might spoil a spotless car and I knew that if I started trying to haul a dog and go off road something would eventually happen. That's why I bought a Yukon XL and put the AMG away.
