The C7 ZR1 debuted as the fourth Corvette to wear the ZR1 badge, and offered the highest power output ever for a Chevrolet production vehicle with a 755 HP supercharged LT5 V8 engine. This Sebring Orange 2019 example features an 8-speed automatic transmission, the desirable 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, and the ZTK track performance package which equips Performance Ride and Handling Suspension, adjustable high-wing spoiler, and unique front splitter end caps. This Corvette ZR1 also features carbon-ceramic brakes, Magnetic Ride Control suspension, an electronic rear limited-slip differential, and a multi-mode performance exhaust system. Initially delivered at the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky, this one-owner ZR1 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania with just under 1k miles on the odometer.

This Corvette features the ZR1 Sebring Orange Design Package which includes Sebring Orange Tintcoat paint, ZR1 Carbon Flash-painted aluminum wheels, orange calipers, orange-painted striped ground effects, and a blackout roof decal. Compared to the standard C7 Corvette, the aerodynamics of the ZR1 were designed in collaboration with Pratt & Miller, operators of the Corvette Racing motorsport team, and include wider fender flares, a carbon-fiber front splitter, a carbon-fiber “halo” hood with vents, a carbon fiber roof panel, carbon-fiber rocker panel trim, and a carbon-fiber rear wing. Minor scratches are noted under the front spoiler and 10mm Suntek paint protection film has been applied throughout the exterior, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, this ZR1 features leather Sport Seats with Sueded Microfiber inserts and orange stitching as part of the Sebring Orange Design Package. Equipped with the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, this ZR1 features 8-way power-adjustable heated and ventilated seats with memory functions, leather-wrapped instrument & door panels, a premium Bose sound system, a performance data and video recorder with navigation, and front curb cameras. Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, a color heads-up display, an 8” color touchscreen infotainment system, and keyless entry and ignition.

The ZR1 is powered by a supercharged 6.2L LT5 V8 rated at 755 HP and 715 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through an 8-speed automatic transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential, which allows the ZR1 to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in less than 3 seconds and on to a top speed of over 210 MPH. Performance features include a ZR1 suspension package with Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, multi-mode performance exhaust system, an upgraded cooling system with multiple radiators and heat exchangers, a rear-differential cooler, and speed-sensitive power steering. This ZR1 is optioned with the ZTK Track Performance Package which includes a Performance Ride and Handling Suspension along with an adjustable high-wing spoiler.

This sale will include the window sticker, owner’s manuals, a car cover, and a battery charger.

The seller would like you to know: “Rare configuration and great fun to drive.  Be prepared for tons of compliments and attention at shows. This car is a beast, but easy to control with the 3 different suspension control modes. The car has never been driven in the rain or at night. The Suntek 10mm Paint Protection Film was meticulously cut and hand-applied.  No one has ever noticed any imperfections and it makes the Sebring Orange paint pop. This is my dream car but I have health issues and can no longer drive such a beautiful piece of engineering due to medication. It breaks my heart to give it up because it's such a pleasure to drive and I'm certain it will continue to increase in value. I hope whoever is lucky enough to own this magnificent and unique Corvette appreciates its beauty and performance abilities – it’s a fantastic vehicle.”

Other notes: The original air filter intake is in the trunk area. The additional track Air Filter intake is installed. I was told by people in the know, that it increases the HP to approximately to 785-to 795. Keep in mind I've never verified this on any test equipment

As noted this car is a beast and has everything that came with it and the laminated window and options stickers. A rare car that is fast as hell and handles like a dream.

Happy Friday Everyone. Good luck bidding today on my somewhat unique ZR1. A few things to consider about this wonderful car.

The engine and supercharger are the biggest and most powerful ever used in the ZR1. GM discontinued this rare configuration and was only used once.

The vehicle also has an SD slot in the glove box to record your drives. Should ypu decide to take it to the track, you can download your drive for performance evaluation with the appropriate software.

Note: This ZR1 is a beast but has never been on a track. Understand when you start this in your garage be prepared for the rumble.

Do not let this one get away. You'll regret missing out on a very special piece of engineering marvel and design.

    Good luck to all!

I have a 2019 SC757 Z06. This would be a great addition to my collection of C7s. Does this ZR1 have a Carfax report?

@tmanjimt I have an A tilte. I'm the only owner. The entire car is wrapped except for the original carbon fiber roof which has been in the hammock since I've had it.

  • tmanjimt (registered bidder) 1 year, 2 monthsago

Thanks for clearing that up, Mike. Also, the Carfax says it was titled in2018 as corporate or fleet. Was that by you or maybe the museum? That could possibly make it a twice owned car.? Please clarify.
And with the PPF, is the entire paint surface on the car covered, or just high risk areas, sometimes called a "track pack"? I have done it both ways with some of my cars depending on value and how it will be used.
    I appreciate the quick reply.
    Jim

@tmanjimt Update on my original reply.

Speaking with the dealer, no parts were replaced. The debris was cleaned out and everything tested passed. Sorry for the confusion but it was 2.5 years ago and my memory is not as it once was. :)

  • Mikecol672 (seller) 1 year, 2 monthsago

@tmanjimt Thanks for the question. I totally forgot about it.

Debris somehow got into the shifter. I drove it to the dealer. The shift to park module was replaced. Technically it is called the: "Transmission Control Module. It was covered under warranty. It's never been an issue since. According to GM and the dealer that did the repair, indicate it's very common on a lot of GM models.

Everything else on this unique Corvette is original with the exception of the $4,000 additional 10mm paint protective film. Each panel / piece was cut and installed by hand.

    Hopefully this addreses your concern.

    Regards,

    Mike
