Up for auction is this 2019 BMW F90 M5 Competition finished in Alpine White III over Aragon Brown Merino leather. A more sport-focused version of BMW's high-performance M5 sedan, the Competition model offers increased power, a stiffer tuned suspension, and more aggressive styling. This 2019 example commanded an original sticker price of nearly $118k with the optional Executive and Driving Assistance Plus packages. Listed on sold on PCARMARKET earlier in 2021, this M5 Competition shows just over 9k miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Utah.
This F90 comes finished in Alpine White III (300) and features wide M5-specific aluminum fenders, an aluminum hood, specialized front and rear bumpers, and an exposed carbon-fiber roof panel. In addition, the Competition model receives high-gloss black Shadowline trim on the front kidney grilles, exterior surrounds, mirror caps, fender vents, rear lip spoiler, and rear diffuser. The signature M-Power quad exhaust tips are also finished in black, while the door handle inserts are paint-matched to the exterior. This M5 rides on 20” BMW Style 789M Y-spoke wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Aragon Brown Merino leather and Dark Aluminum Carbon Structure trim. The 20-way adjustable multi-function seats feature heating, cooling, and massage functions along with illuminated M5 badging in the headrests and M tri-color embroidered seatbelts. The dashboard and center console are covered in contrasting black leather, and the headliner is upholstered in Anthracite Alcantara. Standard driver amenities include Comfort Access keyless entry, a power tailgate, navigation with Advanced Real-Time Traffic Information, BMW Gesture Control, Apple Carplay, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system. The optional Executive Package adds soft-closing automatic doors, rear sunshades, rear-seat heating, 4-zone automatic climate control, Parking Assistant Plus, Active Parking Distance Control, wireless charging, and the 3D-Surround View camera system. This M5 was also ordered with the Active Driving Assistant Plus which equips Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Active Lane-Keep Assistance with side collision avoidance, Traffic Jam Assistant, Evasion Aid, and front Cross-Traffic alert.
The M5 Competition is powered by a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine rated at 617 HP and 553 lb.-ft of torque. An 8-speed ZF M-Steptronic automatic transmission with an Active M Differential sends power through BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel-drive system and offers three driving modes including a rear-wheel-drive option. The Competition model is capable of reaching 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 3 seconds with an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. Compared with a standard M5, the Competition is also equipped with stiffer engine mounts, firmer springs and dampers, heavy-duty front sway bar mounts, and a thickened rear sway bar. The F90’s M Drive system allows the driver to optimize the vehicle’s driving characteristics with two red buttons on either side of the steering wheel controlling the dynamic dampers, throttle response, transmission modes, and M-Sport exhaust system. This M5 has been maintained by Otto’s BMW of West Chester, Pennslyvania, and corresponding records are shown on the CARFAX report. A Carbahn Autoworks Stage 1 tune has been installed by the current owner, which claims to provide an additional output of 166 HP and 221 lb.-ft of torque over the factory settings. The seller reports a 10K-mile service is due in March of 2022.
This sale will include the original window sticker, battery charging system, and a clean title. One of the most powerful and advanced sports sedans on the road, this M5 Competition is ready to please its next owner.

@Sundevil4life I believe BMW’s warranty is 4 years or 50,000 miles, which would mean warranty runs through April of 2023. The tune shouldn’t void the warranty but you’ll need to confirm with your local BMW dealership.
When does warranty ends?
Does tune void warranty?
Bid in the amount of $75,000
How does the tune affect the BMW warranty? Is there a separate warranty that covers damage that it won't? Does it affect the ability to extend the BMW warranty?
@Yags I own a shop that is a new Carbahn Autoworks (Steve Dinan) authorized tuner. We wanted to get our hands on a M5 Competition to tune. We turn cars every 3-4 months as project cars.
Why the quick resale? Can you image up the records for the performance upgrades.
