We are pleased to present this 2019 BMW M2 Competition finished in Hockenheim Silver over a black leather interior with blue stitching. Featured in BMWCCA Roundel and Bimmerlife, this M2 has been displayed at multiple BMW shows as a promotional vehicle for XPEL, BBS, and Liquimoly. This M2 was also featured multiple years on the Turner Motorsport Calendar.  It was acquired through BMW’s European Delivery Program and has been extensively modified and meticulously cared for by its owner, the BMWCCA M-Chapter President and winner of BMWCCA Garage Goals 2020. Carrying a powerful S55 twin-turbocharged engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and several high-end performance upgrades, this M2 is now being offered for auction with under 27k miles showing on the odometer.

This M2 comes finished in Hockenheim Silver with a Competition-specific front fascia, factory Silver 6 Pot brake calipers, and aftermarket 19” BBS FI-R wheels paired with an Apex Stud conversion kit and new Toyo Proxes R888R tires. Additional modifications include AP Carbon mudguards, rear diffuser, mirror covers, and side grilles, AA Concepts side skirts, and Turner Motorsport Carbon front lip and rear high kick spoiler. The factory bumper reflectors have been deleted in favor of honeycomb rear reflector deletes from AP and paint-matched front reflectors. XPEL paint protection film has been applied to the entire front end, A-pillars, rocker panels, door edges, rear quarter panels, and rear bumper sides as well as partial coverage of the roof. A Ceramic Pro coating has also been applied to the exterior including wheels and calipers. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery, along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is upholstered in black leather contrasted with blue stitching. Modifications include heated Recaro Sportster CS Seats, Recaro sliders, Macht Schnell bases with 3-point seatbelts, Schroth Racing Quick Fit Pro harnesses, and IND red M1/M2 buttons. Other details include an M2CS Alcantara steering wheel, Apple CarPlay, and BMW M Performance floor mats.

The 2019 M2 Competition equips a stiffened chassis, a new exhaust system, and a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine derived from the M3 and M4 models. The stock engine delivers 405 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Extensive modifications have been equipped including AP silicone charge pipes, CSF Cooling S55 Package, VRSF catless downpipes, Active Autowerke Signature Exhaust, SSR Keyed 4-pin crank hub, VTT crank bolt capture, and Bootmod3 with custom 93 oct map tuning by JordanTuned. This exceptional M2 has acted as a test bed for Turner Motorsport parts and has been on exhibition laps throughout the east coast. The seller adds that all modifications have been installed by Auto Tuning House, a BMW-focused tuning shop. Routine services were carried out by an authorized BMW dealer, and additional oil changes were performed every 5k miles.

This sale will include a clean title (lien).

@Anandshah84 you are welcome! No wear can be seen. Last time on lift we checked bushings and they looked good and the stock dampers are clean, sometimes when bad they leak.

  • Anandshah84 (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

@evalentin thank you for the reply, any of the suspension bits showing any wear from the tracking?

  • evalentin (seller) 2 yearsago

@Anandshah84 Copying an earlier response to a similar question (see below in quotes). Overall in the 4 years of ownership I believe is was less than 10 Track Night in America events (3 -20 min sessions) and about 5 AX events. Estimated 400 miles of the 26,600 were on track (see below). Stock seats are not included. They ended up in my buddies N55 M2.

"PBIR is roughly 2 miles long, Daytona is 3.8 miles long. A full three sessions at PBIR you can likely do 21 laps and Daytona being longer about 18 laps. All these events were Track Night in America events which are typically 3-20 min sessions that are really about 12-13 on track since you lose 7-8 on pit road staging and cool down. I just ran calculations through EVERY event I did on this this car (I can provide dates of each!) and estimated true laps I did. I had one rain out event at Daytona where we only did one session. We had another rain out at PBIR where I ran just 2 sessions since it was getting heavier on 3rd session and I parked it. I also had one event in Daytona where I only did 2 laps because my friend lost control and went into the bus stop so after that we just spent day resolving getting his car home. Doing a detailed breakdown of the math per event per laps and its roughly 400 miles of actual track time. The condition of the windshield it great, I have purposely avoided following any car with sticky tires on track, I just point them by and let them open a gap. Although I have full XPEL I didn't like the idea of following anyone on track close who was running sticky tires. I actually had a truck on I95 fling a rock and crack my windshield in Florida 2 weeks before BMW CCA Octoberfest back in 2019. I had it replaced and programed at the dealer. I paid extra out of pocket to ensure it was an OEM windshield not a replacement. I am pretty sure I have receipt in my email."

@JDMX274 stock cats are not available, can be sourced second hand since they are exactly the same as any F8X. I will check with my trusted shop to see if they have any at their location.

  • Anandshah84 (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

How many track/auto x/hpde events has the car taken place in? Do the stock seats come with?

  • JDMX274 (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

@evalentin do the stock catted down pipes come with the car so it will pass inspection in many states? I know I will need them in Maryland to get it through inspection

  • evalentin (seller) 2 yearsago

@JDMX274 Absolutely, they were great questions. I hope I answered all thoroughly. I am pretty sure you can achieve a lower setup. The Macht Snell floor mounts I used were readily available with no wait time so went with those but they are pretty thick. I run the biggest M2 group on Facebook and many members there used some other rails and bases that had the seat sitting lower. I would need to do some searching but its doable. I am 5' 10" so I didn't want them super low where I would not see well forward. My E46 M3 with Pole Positions are in that situation where they are really low (maybe too low) but stock seats on those cars are super high also.

  • JDMX274 (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

@evalentin thank you for answering all my questions. I am surprised the Recaros are only .25” lower than the stock seats. Do you know if it would be possible to mount them lower with a different mount setup? My only issue with the M2C I owned was how high I felt like I sat in the cockpit. Thank you, you have great taste in mods!

@JDMX274 Thank you! I appreciate it.

    1. The suspension is KW HAS. I believe I loaded a pic to the gallery of them when we installed. I had the local BMW dealer align it after installing them and asked them to bring them as close to stock specs.
    2. The Recaro's sit about 1/4" lower than stock. I noticed it right after installed since I moved the side mirrors just a touch to pull car out of the shop. And you are correct, the height is not adjustable on them.
    3. The brakes are pretty much stock except for the Motul RFB 600 fluid. The tracks I did were PBIR and Daytona which are not heavy on brakes. PBIR is more demanding than Daytona on tires but both are easy on brakes. I did a brake flush about a month ago, fluid is fresh and good to go.
    4. PBIR is roughly 2 miles long, Daytona is 3.8 miles long. A full three sessions at PBIR you can likely do 21 laps and Daytona being longer about 18 laps. All these events were Track Night in America events which are typically 3-20 min sessions that are really about 12-13 on track since you lose 7-8 on pit road staging and cool down. You have a beautiful car here, Valentin. I have a few questions about the M2C:
    1. What suspension mods have you done? The CCA article references KW suspension. Did you install coilovers or HAS spring kit? If coilovers, which V? What alignment setup are you running?
    2. Do the Recaro seats sit lower than the stock seats? I had an M2C and got rid of it b/c I am tall and didn't have enough headroom with the stock seats. Guessing these seats are not height adjustable
    3. Have you done any brake modifications? More aggressive pads/fluid/caliper mods?
    4. Can you please reply with how many track miles/days and autocross miles/days are on the car? Given the multiple track days, how is the condition of the windshield?
    Thank you

@KCnSF thanks for looking and thanks for your question! Some of the original equipment is in storage, specifically the stock Heat Exchanger, Intercooler, Intakes, Springs and rear muffler. Wheels I parted ways from them a few years ago. Anything that could fit in the car and new owner would like will accompany the car, I can work up a list for buyer and go over it.

  • KCnSF (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

Beautiful car. Does any of the original equipment that was removed convey with the auction? Specifically the wheels?

  • evalentin (seller) 2 yearsago

Again, thanks all for looking at the auction! I just loaded a picture of the owners manuals and the two keys. One of the keys was upgraded\programmed to the newer model by Gates Innovations. Also, someone asked a good question in direct messages regarding if the car had any warning codes from exhaust or seats. Figured it was a great question and wanted to share response here. The in car video might not pickup the dash entirely but there a NO codes whatsoever. The BM3 tune would have address any exhaust codes and I had a local coder ("Remote Bimmer" out of Orlando) take care of coding the Recaro Sportster CS in the M2C.
