Hello,
Unfortunately we will be having to postpone this auction from our end. This morning we were getting a POV drive filmed for the bidders, and we got a coolant temperature warning. This is a common issue that Audi redesigned the mechanical water pump to address (the motor has 3 pumps in total...) as an internal seal on the water pump fails leading to coolant being introduced to vacuum lines and actuators. Our local dealer has the majority of the parts on the shelf since they handle this exact issue regularly. This has led us to begin ordering parts and replacing all of the impacted components of the cooling system. Fortunately this has happened during the auction and not after to the auction winner, we will be working to get this listing going again as soon as possible and the new owner will not have to deal with the faulty early water pump design. Apologies for any sort of inconvenience, and thank you for your attention.
See you all again very soon.
We do not have receipts as the previous owner had the car service in New York performed. The date codes on the tires do read production in 2019 and 2020, so that could have just been what was in stock at that time. Additionally I measured the tread depth of the tires and the rears are reading at 7/32nds and the fronts are reading at 6/32nds. The statement of the mileage is correct the car currently has 36,150 miles.
Pcarmarket folks - could you have the seller double check the tire date codes? Carfax lists four tires mounted and balanced in August 2023 and single tires replaced twice in 2021. I find it odd a dealer would mount 2019 and 2020 tires in 2023. And please correct the listing's title, the car has over 36k miles, not 32k.
