Finished in Black over a matching leather interior with cloth seat centers, this 2018 Porsche 991.2 GT3 is equipped with the Touring Package in Black including a 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission paired with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine. It was originally owned by Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, and factory-equipped with optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), carbon fiber full bucket seats, Front Axle Lift System, Bose Surround Sound System, Chrono Package, instrument dials in white, LED headlights in black, additional leather trim, and satin black-painted wheels. Purchased by the current owner on PCARMARKET in 2022, this GT3 Touring benefits from a recent PPI and is now being offered for auction out of Texas with 8,873 miles showing on the odometer.
Finished in Black and equipped with the Touring Package, this GT3 features a subtle speed-activated rear spoiler in contrast to the standard GT3’s fixed wing. Equipment includes optional LED headlights in black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), painted headlight cleaner covers, SportDesign side mirrors, yellow brake calipers, LED taillights, black model lettering, and dual center-mounted tailpipes. The car rides on optional satin black-painted 20” GT3 center-lock wheels with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires mounted in June 2023 at 8,338 miles. Clear paint protection film is applied over the full front end and the car is said to be in pristine overall condition. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black leather upholstery complemented by black brushed aluminum trim, an Alcantara headliner, and optional carbon fiber bucket seats with cloth centers. Other options include an optional leather-wrapped steering column casing, sun visors in leather, instrument dials in white, pedals and footrest in aluminum, the Chrono Package, auto-dimming mirrors, Voice Control, Bose Surround Sound System, Front Axle Lift System, an extended-range fuel tank, a fire extinguisher, a luggage net in the passenger footwell, and an aluminum-look fuel cap. The car also features dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM).
A naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine provides up to 500 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are equipped, and the car comes standard with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), rear-axle steering, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). The spark plugs and drive belt were replaced before the owner’s purchase in 2022. Service under the seller’s ownership has included new tires and an oil change in June 2023, and an oil change, brake fluid flush, DME report, and pre-purchase inspection in August 2024.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a car cover, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This car has been well-maintained its entire life with service records going back to the original owner. The exterior and interior are pristine, with no knicks, dents, chips, etc. A local highly reputable independent Porsche specialist, Mayo Performance, has done a PPI in an abundance of caution for any bidders, along with a DME report. This GT3 Touring is an exceptional car and I'm only selling it to make room for a new car delivery this fall.”

@golfinz Agreed! I do love my Touring they are great cars!
@BruceM911 Ok to disagree! These cars are fun to talk about. Lets hope the seller gets to 217k like before and the car goes to a good home. I feel like 217 was a good number then. Market is a little different now. By how much? Buyers will decide.
@Driveitnow01 - Black cars do not appeal to everyone but there are enough people that do like them. Checking recent sales have shown that Black cars do demand the same as other colors for the most part with the exception of PTS. I think prices are more a factor of options, condition and mileage. Color is subjective. This car looks amazing and if I was in the market for one I wouldn’t hesitate to bid on this one. Good luck to everyone!
Hello everyone. I purchased a 992.1 GT3T from this seller last year. The seller was very accommodating and he made arrangements for me to view the car in person. There were absolutely no surprises whatsoever and the car was 100% as advertised. The post sale transaction was also seamless as one would expect. With that said, bid with the upmost of confidence. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle sight unseen from this seller. Best of luck to both buyer and seller. This car is awesome and the buyer will be thrilled. I know that I am thrilled every time I drive my GT3T. These cars are beyond special.
@Driveitnow01 I think it’s fair to say the market has softened across the board. But for whatever reason there seem to be quite a bit of 991 Tourings up for grabs as of late (relatively speaking ofc) - I’m sure that has had an additional layer of influence on the market. I firmly believe the 991 Touring will become a classic in the not-so-distant future, especially given the low production numbers and purist design compared to the 992 gen. So whatever color is your liking, it’s bound to appreciate. Color preference is subjective but color in relation to value also has much to do with production numbers. Albeit, I do agree all things being equal, black cars normally don’t demand same dollar as say a silver car, especially in the GT3 world. But try to buy a black 997 RS 4.0 There were a total of 110 black 991 Tourings (60 Black & 50 Jet Black Metallic) brought to North America out of roughly 750 cars. If black is your color, this car has low miles and all the right options.
Good morning everyone - today is the final day of the auction. Please place a bid if you are interested in this vehicle.
I will be watching the comments for questions. Best of luck to all bidders!
I also feel the resale of Black Cars hasn't had the allure, nor been bringing the money that the other colors seem to pull. No doubt that this is a beautiful and exceptional car. I also am hoping for the seller to reach the $217K of the last RNM auction. We shall see, as I feel the market has softened for this particular model, especially around the standard colors. GLWA!

@golfinz- I disagree and this exact car is proof as you pointed out
@BruceM911 My comment was not meant as a 'knock' to the car. Rather, an observation I've made over the last 3 years watching these cars come/go. Certain colors pull higher sales numbers and black/yellow/carmine red typically do not bring the same numbers that other standard colors do (ignoring PTS colors). I've noticed that white and silver can bring slightly higher numbers than black/yellow/carmine red.
@ViperPorcheF The headlights do not have PPF on them but they do not have any knicks, chips, or scratches.
Sorry for the follow-up question. PPF on the headlights?
@ViperPorcheF Yes, the car has full front PPF on the front bumper, hood, roof, and fenders. It also has PPF on the rear fenders (see picture #41 for reference) on the slide closest to the doors (sometimes this is referred to as the rock/stone guard).
Please see the paint reading pictures to also verify the PPF thickness.
@Midlifecrises888 DME reports do not reset themselves per my knowledge. The report you are looking at is from 2019 and should be disregarded. Please refer to images #212-214 for the most recent DME report.
ppf?
@Midlifecrises888 Can't edit. I'm referring to photo 201. TIA
Does the DME reset itself? I looked at a DME report for this car from 2 years ago, and it had 23 ignition recordings in range1 which is no big deal, just bouncing off the limiter. But now it shows 0. Does the "no big deal" ranges reset itself after x-amount of time?
"Black car." Interesting observation. My 49 Cadillac Series 62, 04 996 TT cab, 05 500SL, and 07 F430 all look great in black. I never gave a second thought about resale when I purchase them. Most car lovers who are fortunate enough to have a choice love black as it is timeless and classy. It may not scream look at me but it sure do look good.
@golfinz Not sure what you mean “for a black car”. Not everyone likes a Black car but there are enough people that do so I don’t agree with your comment. When I went searching for my car it had to be Black. This one looks amazing especially with the yellow calipers. Good luck to the seller and bidders!
Went RNM a few months ago on the 'other' site, with a high bid of 217k. That seemed like a good number for a black car. Hope you get the same bids here! It's a good looking car
