Finished in GT Silver Metallic, this 2018 Porsche 991 GT2 RS features the optional Weissach Package which provides a lightweight carbon fiber roof panel, front lid, and anti-roll bars. It also sports a full carbon fiber trim package as well as optional lightweight magnesium wheels and a front axle lift system. Cared for by its second and current owner in California since late 2019, this GT2 RS is now being offered for auction with just under 4,500 miles showing on the odometer.

The exterior is finished in GT Silver Metallic with a painted stripe bisecting the exposed carbon fiber hood and roof panels. Characteristic details of the GT2 RS include carbon fiber side air intakes, vented front fenders, side skirts, a fixed rear wing, NACA-ducted hood, and front fascia with large air intakes. This example rides on optional lightweight 20/21” magnesium wheels finished in White Gold Metallic with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires dated from 2018 in front and 2020 in the rear. 3M Crystalline window tints have been applied as well as a removable red pinstripe on the hood and roof. The seller adds that the full exterior has been preserved under clear paint protection film since new. A minor damage is reported on CARFAX in 2021 that is said to have resulted from a factory-certified repair to the shock tower.

The black and red leather and Alcantara interior features a pair of lightweight bucket seats with deviated red seatbelts and “Weissach RS” logos embroidered in the headrests. Equipment includes full carbon fiber trim, a front axle lift system, Bose Surround Sound System, a fire extinguisher, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell. Aftermarket carbon fiber floor mats have been fitted as well.

The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six engine delivers up to 700 HP and 553 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 2.7 seconds with a top speed over 210 MPH while stopping power is handled by Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). The CARFAX report shows routine dealer maintenance including service at Porsche San Diego in 2021 at 4,193 miles.

This sale will include a clean title.

Could you upload the service report where the shock tower was fixed?

Hello and thank you for viewing the GT2. I will do my best to answer any questions as quickly as possible.

One thing to mention about the car is that it wasn't until deciding to offer the car for sale that it was realized that the carfax report show incorrect information. It shows minor damage to the front left and left side as well as the rear of the car. This is not accurate and we are looking into what the process is to have that corrected. The only thing that should be reported is the factory certified repair to the shock tower that was completed which involved ZERO paint work. The known, but rare issue of some GT cars having this failure was the only thing that this car has had repaired and upgraded. Now this car will not be susceptible to this issue in the future. The car has never been crashed and it is better than new as far as this issue is concerned.
