Acclaimed for its agile and balanced driving characteristics, the 718 Cayman marked a new era for Porsche with the introduction of a turbocharged flat-four-cylinder engine. This 2018 example is finished in Racing Yellow over a Black interior and features a 7-speed PDK transmission, Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System, the Bose Surround Sound System, the Premium Package, and 20” Carrera Sport wheels. Also equipped with performance upgrades and GT4-style modifications, this one-owner Cayman is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Georgia while showing less than 31k miles on the odometer.
The Cayman is characterized by its mid-engine body style including a speed-activated rear spoiler, and side air intakes. This example comes finished in Racing Yellow and features Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System as part of the optional Premium Package. It rides on aftermarket 20” 981 Cayman GT4 BBS wheels mounted with 5mm front/8mm rear ECS Tuning wheel spacers and tires from 2019. Additional modifications include clear side markers, GT4 side scoops, a Bayson R GT4-style front bumper, a Bayson R rear diffuser, and H&R lowering springs. The seller adds that XPEL paint protection film covers the hood, front fenders, and mirrors. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is situated within Black standard leather upholstery. The optional Premium Package Plus adds 14-way Power Sport Seats with memory functions, and Porsche Entry & Drive. Porsche Connect and the Bose Surround Sound System were also opted for. The seller notes marks on the driver’s heel pad and slight creasing on the seats.
This Cayman is equipped with a mid-mounted 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four engine factory rated at 300 HP and 280 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 5 seconds. Performance modifications include Sebro slotted brake rotors, Hawk HPS 5.0 brake pads, a BMC engine air filter, and a Soul Performance exhaust system. The CARFAX report shows a total of 11 service history entries, and the seller adds that an excel spreadsheet with service and fueling records will accompany the sale. Additionally, service history is said to include the following:
This sale will include a clean title, two keys, owner’s manuals, Weathertech floor mats, and a host of factory items including the floor mats, exhaust, rear diffuser, side scoops, side markers, and parking sensors which were removed for the aftermarket front bumper and rear diffuser.

With the auction ending in under 3 hours, feel free to fire off any last minute questions. Good luck everyone!
@KayaknFly I had the car at Mid Ohio on the weekend of 4/17/2021 (dry weather) and the weekend of 7/10/2021 (wet weather). The Hawk pads and brake fluid were installed after the April track weekend. Since the whole track weekend of 7/10/2021 was wet, there wasn't much driving to be had, and the brake pads weren't used much at all. Brake rotors were installed much more recently (see major service history photo). The Advan tires and GT4 wheels were also installed more recently. My records show I purchased the Advans from DiscountTireDirect on 29 Dec 2021, they were installed at a Firestone 20 May 2022, mounted on the car in August 2022, and so have only seen light use since then. Ultimately track was fun, but it didn't take long to realize I didn't care much about that form of driving and was more interested in culminating my vision for this car from the beginning. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
With the upgraded pads and rotors was this car tracked or done HPDE?
Love the color. Looks good with the front end.

Hello PCarMarket! I am the seller. I am a meticulous mechanical engineer with a long product design background. I am no Magnus Walker, but this build has been an intentional effort to fulfill a spirit of form and spirit of driving from when I bought the car new.
We all know the GT3 Touring is regarded as the swimsuit model, while the GT3 by comparison is the sweaty karate coach. Simplicity drives beauty in automotive design. From its execution in 2016, I felt the GT4 would be better aesthetically served without the rear wing. I even Photoshop-ed it to confirm suspicions. When the 718 GT4 spy shots were being released before I bought this 718, I knew that a wingless 718 coupe with GT4 front end would be gorgeous: Spyders are great, but I'm not as thrilled with convertibles as our favorite journalist Matt Farah. When the 718 GT4 came out, I was shocked they moved away from center exhaust, which, in my opinion, detracted from the look.
So began my journey. I bought a Racing Yellow 718 Cayman in July 2019 and began to work. This 718 has all of the core design language of Porsche: low and wide stance, GT wheels, GT front bumper, center exhaust. As built, this car receives compliments everywhere I go. The only maintenance that I did not do myself was suspension installation, suspension alignment, and the Advan tire mounting to the wheels. Apart from that, I record every service event that I execute and that is available. We're selling it because my wife and I are new parents and have no need for a 2-seater!
Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Happy bidding!
