We are pleased to offer this 2018 Porsche 991.2 Targa 4 GTS finished in Jet Black Metallic over a two-tone Black and Bordeaux Red leather interior. The top-range Targa model of the 991 generation, this GTS comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package, PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Exhaust, center-lock Turbo S wheels, revised styling, and a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine rated at 450 HP. This 2018 example commanded an original sticker price of over $166k with options including a 7-speed PDK transmission, Rear Axle Steering, the Front Axle Lift System, Porsche crested headrests, illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, and much more. It was purchased by the current owner as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Porsche of South Shore in 2019 at 8k miles. Dealer-maintained from new, this Targa 4 GTS now shows just over 10k miles and is being offered for auction by its owner out of New York accompanied by the remaining factory and CPO warranties.
This Targa is finished in Jet Black Metallic and is distinguished as a GTS model with its black exterior trim and Targa bar, tinted taillights, black logos, SportDesign mirrors, and SportDesign front fascia. This 991.2 has been preserved with clear paint protection film applied over the front end, mirror covers, and in front of the rear wheel arches. Clear side marker lenses have also been installed, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. This 2018 example features Exclusive LED headlights in black and 20” 911 Turbo S center-lock wheels dressed in Pirelli P-Zero tires.
Inside, you will find an optional two-tone Black and Bordeaux Red leather interior with carbon fiber trim and deletion of GTS Alcantara in favor of smooth leather. Factory Exclusive options include illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, Porsche crested headrests, and a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial in Guards Red. The driver is supplied with the Front Axle Lift System, a heated multifunction steering wheel, and the Bose Surround Sound System. The optional Premium Package Plus also adds 14-way Power Sport Seats, Porsche Entry & Drive, auto-dimming mirrors, and the Light Design Package as well as front seat heating and ventilation. A complete list of factory options is provided below:
The 3.0L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine in the GTS generates as much as 450 HP and 405 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Standard performance features include PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Exhaust, and the Sport Chrono Package which allows acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.4 seconds. This example has also been optioned with Rear Axle Steering which provides for improved handling and maneuverability. CARFAX shows a history of routine dealer maintenance dating back to the original purchase, and the seller confirms all scheduled service to have been carried out by Porsche of South Shore during their ownership. The last documented service was carried out in February of 2020 at 9,286 miles.
This sale will include a set of three master keys, owner’s manuals, the original amber side marker lenses, a front license plate holder, and a clean title. The remainder of the factory 4-year warranty will be transferred to the next owner as well as the remainder of the extended 2-year CPO warranty from Porsche. Handsomely equipped and properly maintained, this Targa 4 GTS is just waiting for its next owner to get behind the wheel and enjoy.

@Brigante Thank You. You gave me a run for my money.
@911doc Thank You doc. I’m looking forward to picking it up.
@BarryLe Barry, much appreciated. Once I have the car, I will let you know if I need any help.
Bazari: Well done on your win. You got a good buy on a great car. I have done a lot of upgrading on the interior of my GTS to turn the interior into a very “Bespoke” interior. I have covered a lot of the plastic parts in leather and I have changed out other parts for carbon fiber. I have truly taken my car’s interior to the next level. If you ever are interested in the vendors who do the OEM equivalent work, contact me and I will hook you up with the right people.
Thanks for the comments.
There is something special about the performance balance and beauty of this Targa 4 GTS w rear wheel steer.
I was fortunate to be able to drive this special one.
Doc, I have seen the car on the back roads by the School for the Deaf. Amazing piece of art in motion...

Sure is a sellers market!
@BarryLe It is crazy times for sure! There are a few other similar cars for sale around the country right now but totally agreed with you that it's crazy times.
Bazari: I am not a bidder as I am a 3 pedal only kind of guy. I am first in line for a 992 Targa 4 GTS manual if Porsche ever decides to release the car. I have a real fear, however, that the 992 is too big and I don’t like it’s looks as much as I like the 991.2 GTS. This car should go for new it’s original MSRP given the market and the total absence of any new 992’s for sale. I was at Champion Porsche yesterday. They are the largest Porsche dealership in the world. They didn’t have one new 911 on the showroom floor. These are crazy times!

@BarryLe Barry, Thank you for the info. Are you planning on bidding on this car?
@SierraMike @SierraMike;
Great comment that we can end up at 200K!!
Let's hope everyone is aware that buyer has to pay 5K fee on top of purchase price.
To all Bidders: I drive a 2018 Targa 4 GTS with a 7 speed manual transmission. Prior to my special order 7 sp. GTS arriving, I drove a 2017 Targa 4 GTS with PDK. I can’t give this particular model a higher recommendation. Regardless of your transmission choice, the GTS is blindingly fast, a terror at Lime Rock where I turning laps in 60 seconds, all the while being totally comfortable driving the GTS to the grocery store. I have owned at least 20 Targas in my lifetime where I needed to fold the roof and put it in the front bonnet. Pushing a button and having the roof disappear is so much better. The GTS is the best 911 that Porsche builds. Whoever buys this car will be delighted!!! I think the winner will pay near the original MSRP.

@911doc Sorry cannot for the life of me get the direct message to work.
Or is this considered a direct message? I’m confused.
Greg
@Glc86 nice! Of course. Just send me a pm to arrange.
Ordered a 992 Targa 4S on Jan.1 traded in my 991 C4s…still no timetable for build. Getting tired of waiting and Porsche’s indifference.
Hey Doc, I am the high bidder right now any chance I can come and see the car, I am not far from you.
Bid in the amount of $100,000
@worldmotorsports I could easily make that accommodation as it has a nice climate controlled garage space!

911doc: Beautiful Targa 4 GTS. I drive a 2018 Carmine Red Targa 4 GTS with a few more options and a manual transmission. I have owned maybe 30 911’s in my life. My 991.2 is the best. It is blindingly fast, handles beautifully, and is totally comfortable. I will consider a 992 Targa 4 GTS when it is released but I think it may be too big and too heavy. GLWS.
