Introduced as the fastest and most powerful road-going 911 at its time, the 991.2 GT2 RS features a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter engine delivering 700 HP to the rear wheels, a 7-speed PDK transmission, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), ceramic brakes (PCCB), and aggressive carbon fiber bodywork. Finished in Black over matching leather and Alcantara upholstery, this 2018 example was factory-optioned with the Weissach Package, LED Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System, Satin Black-painted wheels, Front Axle Lift System, Chrono Package, Bose® Surround Sound System, an extended-range fuel tank, and more. It was also customized with a rear wing-delete, red Tartan cloth seat inserts, and 20”/21” GT2 RS Magnesium wheels. This Canadian-market GT2 RS is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of Virginia with just over 1k miles showing on the odometer accompanied by the factory rear wing and seat inserts.

Based on the 911 Turbo, the GT2 RS features widened fenders with rear side air intakes, a lightweight carbon fiber hood, front fender vents, a fixed rear wing, and unique bumpers with large air intakes. This example is factory-optioned with the Weissach Package, adding an exposed carbon fiber roof panel with a painted center stripe along the bonnet. Finished in Black, it also includes optional body-colored headlight washer covers, LED headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), and auto-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor. Modifications consist of removing the rear wing in favor of carbon fiber decklid winglet extensions and fitting 20”/21” GT2 RS Magnesium wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The original rear wing is included in the sale. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin features black leather and Alcantara upholstery, complemented by aftermarket red-accented Tartan cloth seat inserts. The Weissach Package adds a commemorative placard on the carbon fiber trim above the glovebox and Weissach RS-embroidered headrests on the lightweight carbon bucket seats. Additional options include a steering wheel 12 o’clock marker in red, Alcantara sun visors, the Bose® Surround Sound System, a fire extinguisher, the Light Design Package, and illuminated carbon fiber door sill guards. The factory seat inserts will accompany the sale.

The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 700 HP and 553 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 2.7 seconds with a top speed of over 210 MPH. The GT2 RS comes standard with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), including 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. The RS also features specially tuned versions of Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+). Additional options include the Front Axle Lift System, Chrono Package with Preparation for Lap Trigger, and an extended-range fuel tank. A total of eight service history entries are shown on the CARFAX report.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, and a set of factory parts.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. This 911GT2 RS is a beautiful car. It has been stored in a climate-controlled garage with weekly start-ups and hooked up to a battery tender. She will make a great addition to someone’s collection.”

@StickyBlackice I hear you, I had to fight off a lot. Coming off of a motorcycle accident and a quadruple bypass with a stroke and my wife having brain cancer forced me to sell a lot of my toys this being one of them. Sad day, but I’m alive.

I just can’t get over this car. One day maybe, but a 991 GT2 RS, black on black is the ultimate 911 Turbo expression. Only of if I had a spare half mil lying around. It should get every bit of that too. I just hope seller has something to fight off seller remorse! GL

  • 812choice (seller) 1 weekago

@pmonolo no, the instrument panel reads miles per hours and gallons

  • 812choice (seller) 1 weekago

@pmonolo I drove it a few times, I don’t remember seeing anything like that. Everything looked normal not Canadian not kilometers. Car is not near me so I can’t even take a picture for you, but there’s only two hours left, and we are far from reserve. There’s two other cars in the market right now for sale both with similar miles, but both have lesser window sticker. One is 525 K and the other 600 K. Rare car.

  • pmonolo (registered bidder) 1 weekago

Is there anything on the instrument cluster that shows this was a Canadien vehicle? Anything in KM or the fuel says R instead of E? Just curious is anything was changed over as this gauge cluster is not all digital. Thanks.

@Utahcraft One other thought I should tell you about, when I drove this car I approached 90 to 100 mph range and had no control issues at all.
I cannot personally reference the drivability above this speed but can honestly say that I didn’t feel even the slightest uh-oh and felt that I could continue on with greater speeds.

  • 812choice (seller) 1 week, 4 daysago

@CascioMotors Yes, when the vehicle was purchased in April from Canepa, it was transported directly to a local Porsche dealer, and then into storage.
Canepa authorized the usage of these pictures. Because of this bid listing being launched quicker than we were made aware of and prepared for, coupled with the holiday weekend, the publishing of a walk around, start up videos have been delayed and are not scheduled to be released until tomorrow.

  • 812choice (seller) 1 week, 4 daysago

@Utahcraft Great question! Correct, downforce is affected and as we all know, Porsche puts out warnings of modifying the wing, combined with speed. We would not recommend approaching much higher speeds, let alone 200 mph with the current wing. If that is something that you would choose, we would recommend putting the Stock wing back on the car that comes with the car upon purchase. No modifications have been done to the front end that we are aware of. The winglets are a nice addition, and actually show better (personal preference). However, owner/driver needs to be aware of the aerodynamics being changed while driving at higher speeds and or racing, if this is what they choose to do.

@812choice Are the pictures posted in this auction current or they the old pictures from when the car was listed at Canepa back in March?

  • Utahcraft (registered bidder) 1 week, 4 daysago

    @812choice
Beautiful GT2! Question- the rear spoiler looks great, but my guess is that the rear down force has been drastically reduced by removing the factory wing. Were any modifications done to the front spoiler/bumper to counter this? I think I'd be a bit nervous approaching 200mph in this type of configuration.

@812choice Thank you for quick reply!

Who makes/ sells the CF winglets?

  • 812choice (seller) 1 week, 4 daysago

This Beautiful GT2 RS also has full body PPF. For some reason this information was left out of the cars write up.

  • G964 (registered bidder) 1 week, 4 daysago

I have never been a fan of the GT2 RS aesthetic…this is what they should have looked like from the factory. Stealth bomber.

  • 812choice (seller) 1 week, 6 daysago

@StickyBlackice I added a picture showing the stock wing, obviously this is not the same car, unfortunately I don’t have a picture to share of this car with that wing, but you get the gist of it. The winglets use the same stainless steel bolts that the stock wing utilizes.

@smorty The wheels are the stock magnesium, and have painted to match the flow of the car. We feel that this color goes very well with the car, rather than the original silver color.

  • 812choice (seller) 1 week, 6 daysago

@rhmoritz Good question, I am not sure. We will attempt to reach out to original owner to find out. May not know until Tuesday.

  • 812choice (seller) 1 week, 6 daysago

@smorty Yes, new wing is in a crate and goes with the car. The rear wing currently has carbon fiber winglets attached. The winglets cost $7500.
To install the stock wing for the winglets takes a matter of minutes to switch out

  • rhmoritz (registered bidder) 1 week, 6 daysago

Are the custom tartan seat inserts from P1designs?

  • Gotham212Ghost (registered bidder) 1 week, 6 daysago

Beautiful spec., can you post the window sticker, GLWTA

  • smorty (registered bidder) 1 week, 6 daysago
