The 991 GT2 RS debuted as the most powerful and high-performance road-going Porsche 911 ever built, boasting a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter engine sending 700 HP to the rear wheels along with a 7-speed PDK transmission, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), ceramic brakes (PCCB), and aggressive carbon fiber bodywork. This 2018 example is presented in Racing Yellow over Black leather and Alcantara upholstery with yellow contrast stitching and custom TechArt interior appointments. It also features the optional Weissach Package, including magnesium wheels. Showing less than 1,600 kilometers, or approximately 1k miles, on the odometer, this GT2 RS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
Based on the contemporary 911 Turbo, the 991 GT2 RS also features widened rear fenders and integrated side air intakes. It also includes distinctive front and rear bumpers, vented front fenders from the GT3 RS, side skirts, a NACA-ducted carbon fiber hood, an engine cover with carbon fiber air scoops, and an imposing rear wing. This example showcases a Racing Yellow (P3) finish, bisected by a painted stripe along the exposed carbon fiber hood and roof panels as part of the Weissach Package. It rides on optional lightweight 20”/21” 911 GT2 RS magnesium center-lock wheels wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx Race 2 tires. Additional options include LED headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), and door handles in High Gloss Black. The seller indicates that the car has never seen track use and is partially covered with paint protection film. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Black leather and Alcantara upholstery with yellow contrast stitching and Racing Yellow seatbelts. Custom TechArt appointments include thicker material for the steering wheel and checkered-pattern steering wheel and seat centers. The optional Weissach Package also includes a commemorative placard on the carbon fiber trim above the glovebox and “Weissach RS” logos embroidered on the headrests of the lightweight carbon bucket seats.
Up to 700 HP and 553 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels from a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six and a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 2.7 seconds with a top speed of over 210 MPH. Standard performance features of the GT2 RS include Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) as well as specially tuned versions of Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+). The optional Weissach Package reduces weight by 66 lbs. with the inclusion of a carbon fiber roof panel, anti-roll bars, and coupling rods. A Capristo Performance valved exhaust has been added, and the original components will accompany the sale. The vehicle is said to have been serviced at Porsche Centre Lauzon in Laval, QC, on August 8th, 2024, in preparation for the sale.
