Among the rarer versions of the 991.2 with less than 1,000 produced for the U.S. market, the Carrera T is a lightweight driver-focused model featuring PASM Sport lowered suspension, Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust, and a limited-slip differential as standard equipment. This 2018 example is finished in Carrara White Metallic over a Black and GT Silver interior with pinstripe Sport-Tex seat centers. It was factory-equipped with a 7-speed manual transmission, optional 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, Chrono Package, instrument dials in white, bi-xenon headlights, rear axle steering, Lane Change Assist, Premium Package, and Bose Surround Sound System. It has also been modified with high-flow 200-cell catalytic converters and a Softronic ECU tune. Purchased by the seller, its second owner, in September 2020, this Carrera T is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 21k miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to a standard 991.2 Carrera, the Carrera T features an aerodynamic front lip spoiler, lightweight glass windows, dual center-mounted tailpipes in black, SportDesign exterior mirrors in Agate Grey Metallic, 20” Carrera S wheels in Titanium Grey, and “911 Carrera T” graphics on the doors. This non-sunroof Coupe is finished in Carrara White Metallic and features optional bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S were manufactured in 2020, clear paint protection film is installed over the front end, and ceramic tint has been applied to the windows and windshield. Custom removable red vinyl accents have also been added to the exterior graphics. The seller notes that the car has been garage-kept and hand-washed during their ownership, and the exterior remains in excellent condition with only minor marks in the PPF on the lower rockers and rear wheel arches. Some minor curb rash is also noted on the right rear wheel and at the bottom of the front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black leather interior features deviated GT Silver stitching and door pull straps, gloss black trim pieces, an Alcantara headliner, and optional 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus with Carrera T pinstriped Sport-Tex centers. Accessories include a three-spoke GT Sport multifunction steering wheel in leather, optional instrument dials in white, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Sport Chrono stopwatch, Voice Control, Lane Change Assist (LCA), Bose Surround Sound System, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation.
A twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six delivers up to 370 HP and 332 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Carrera T comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust System, and PASM (Porsche Active Stability Management) Sport Suspension. The car was maintained under a Porsche CPO warranty until April 2024 including a water pump recall earlier this year. The car has also been modified with high-flow 200-cell catalytic converters and a Softronic ECU tune. The seller adds that there are no check engine lights resulting from the tune or exhaust modifications and the original catalytic converters are included in the sale along with a Softronic "My Genie" tool.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, an air pump, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a 2-owner Carrera T with a 3.0 L twin-turbo flat-six engine coupled with a 7-speed manual transmission and LSD transaxle. Limited production in 2018 and 2019 with less than 1000 sold in the US and Canada. I have owned it for almost 4 years and have a clear Florida title in my name with no lien, and a clean CarFax and DME report. All maintenance is current. It is a high-option example with an MSRP of $119,760.00. Sold new in South Florida, I bought it as a CPO vehicle in September 2020. The T has the following as standard equipment:
- Sport PASM (10mm lower and stiffer than standard PASM). This was not an option on base Carreras. It was a cost option on the Carrera S.
- 20" Carrera S wheels and tires (standard Carrera was equipped with 19"). A cost option on base Carrera.
- "lightweight" glass on rear 3 windows. NOT optional on any 991.2 Carrera model, standard on 911R, GT2RS and GT3RS. VERY expensive retrofit or replacement.
- door straps rather than handles inside (gimmicky but cool none the less), otherwise only on GT2RS, GT3RS, and 911R ("standard" GT3 didn't have the straps either).
- Sport Chrono was standard with the exceptions of active engine mounts (not available) and the clock/timer/"precision app" (which was a cheap additional cost option). Cost-option on Carrera and Carrera S models.
- Sport Exhaust. A cost-option on Carrera and Carrera S models.
If a manual transmission T was ordered, it also had the following which were not offered on the base Carrera:
- Slightly shorter final drive of Carrera S (3.59 vs 3.44)
- Limited slip differential (standard Carrera manual was "open" diff)
- Shortened (10mm) shift lever with red markings. Not available on Carrera or Carrera S models.”

@id37833 as an owner of a T, the crackles come from the PSE engaged in Sport only. Sport + engages Porsche Anti-lag where the throttle stays partially open. No crackles in that setting or in regular.

I noticed on the driving video you get the crackle of the exhaust every time you let off the gas. Was that done through the tune or was that always the case? I just don’t recall hearing so often in other videos or is it just more noticeable due to the recording ?

@id37833 All 4 tires were mounted at the same time by Discount Tire here in Jacksonville in late 2020. Install mileage was just under 13,000 miles. The receipt is posted in the gallery. I'll double-check and repost that receipt if necessary.
Brake pads and rotors are all original and all in the "green"per the Courtesy inspection done today at the dealer while I was having the DME Range Report pulled. No issues found.
From what I see 2 tires were replaced in 2020? Or the other 2 tires original? Thanks for any info?
And are the brake pads/rotors are all original as well?

Both the stock file and tuned file are loaded on it and can easily be switched back and forth.
The cats were installed on 1/25/21 by Mack Motorwerks in Jacksonville, FL. I'm posting pics of the receipt and several install pics.
Softronic takes this bad boy up to 485 hp and 498 torques .. wowza, this thing must rip! Would be very interested if I had the garage space for it

Just ran the DME Range Report at my local dealer; Fields Porsche Jacksonville. See uploaded pics. Only 61 ign's in Range 1 and 2 in Range 2. Perfect report with no issues, as I expected. The 2 reported instances were at the same time over 350 operating hours ago. Most likely a touch of the rev limiter in first gear a few years back!

Hi all; I forgot to mention in my ad that I installed a set of Hi Flo 200 cell cats and the Softronic Tune (tuned for 93 octane, pump gas, fully reversible) and have been driving it that way ever since. I have several cars and I truly forgot to mention this. The drive and walkaround videos were taken with these installed. The performance and sound are amazing, NO CEL’s or faults of any kind ever displayed.
I just spoke with Pcar to apologize to them for missing this and to seek their guidance. They advised (and I agree) that stock cats and Softronic ”My Genie” tool be included at no extra charge and said I would update the listing to make note of the above. Retail on the tune is upwards of $1500 and the OEM cats (with about 13K miles) are over $1400 each. So that is almost $3000 of OEM catalytic converters that I will provide to the winning bidder.
I am sharing this in the interest of full disclosure to allow any bidders to evaluate the inclusion of these extras in the purchase of my T. Thank you and good luck to the next owner of this incredible car!

@jvuong Re: DME Report, I have one from about a year ago. 0 over-revs across all 6 ranges. Trying to get a current one from a friend with PWIS in the next day or 2. Don't expect any different readings. Will post results.
Beautiful T, with an exceptional spec combination of sport and touring options! Rare to get manual transmission, rear steer. 18 way seats and no sunroof. Will be watching this one closely. GLWA.
Please note that the paint meter photos show a different range of values for PPF-covered surfaces (11-13 for hood and front fenders ) and a lower amount (5-7 for non-covered surfaces ) such as doors, and rear fenders. All painted surfaces are original paint with no repairs or refinishing.
