Following the SLS AMG supercar, the GT became the second sports car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG. Equipped with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine sending power to the rear wheels, this 2018 Roadster was ordered in Selenite Grey Metallic over a Red Pepper/Black Nappa leather interior, and was optioned with the Keyless Go Package, the Lane Tracking Package, AMG Black Piano Lacquer Trim, an AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather, the AMG Exterior Night Styling Package, an AMG Performance exhaust system, DISTRONIC PLUS adaptive cruise control, heated and ventilated front seats, 19”/20” AMG Split 5-spoke wheels, and a Burmester Surround Sound system. Now showing approximately 22k miles on the odometer, this 2018 AMG GT Roadster is being offered at auction by the seller located out of New York.
The exterior is finished in Selenite Grey Metallic (992) with a black power convertible soft top. Equipment includes the AMG Exterior Night Styling package, which provides a high-gloss black front splitter, air intake grille, air outlet grille, exterior mirror housings, rear diffuser trim strip, tailpipes, and side skirt inserts, a vented hood, fender vents, full LED headlights, an automatically deploying rear spoiler, silver brake calipers, LED tail lamps, and integrated LED turn signals in the mirrors. The seller reports that an incident occurred in June of 2019 while the vehicle was parked, resulting in the refinishing of the driver’s side door, and notes some minor rash on the underside of the front bumper. The optional 19” front 20” rear AMG Split 5-spoke wheels have been recently refinished and mounted with new Michelin tires.
The interior features Red Pepper and Black Nappa leather upholstery with red contrast stitching throughout, and Red Pepper accents on the AMG Performance seat inserts and door armrests. Optional AMG Black Piano Lacquer trim lines the center console and air vents. Amenities include a rearview camera, Parktronic parking assist, optional DISTRONIC adaptive cruise control, automatically dimming mirrors, optional Keyless GO keyless entry, the Airscarf neck-warming systems, automatic climate control, a Burmester Surround Sound system, blind-spot assistant, automatic lane recognition, and lane-keeping assist.
The AMG GT is powered by an AMG-built M178 twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine that delivers as much as 469 HP and 465 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch AMG Speedshift automatic transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 196 MPH. Performance features include an AMG Adaptive Sport Suspension with adaptive dampers and forged dual wishbones in the front and rear, a switchable AMG Performance exhaust, a dry-sump lubrication system, a carbon-fiber composite driveshaft, and dynamic engine and transmission mounts. The CARFAX report shows a history of dealership maintenance carried out since new, and the last major service was performed by Mercedes-Benz of Huntington, New York, in August of 2021, where the blower motor and ignition coils were replaced, and a full maintenance inspection was performed.

@Avant911 hello, yes absolutely. It technically was not an accident but carfax loves to cause turmoil for sellers of their vehicles. A cart tapped the door while parked in a shopping center and it was professionally repaired. If you are local and want to inspect prior to bidding, we welcome that.
