@XHILLR8 - thanks for the bid, and my apologies. I thought you were talking about the fender vents. I went and pulled the cover off the car to check out the air vents - and indeed, there was some sort of residue on there ....but not any more ! I had never noticed it, and a little quick detailer and a wipe, its gone ! Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks! Regarding the residue on the vent, see Picture 139... I guess it's just dusty?

  • elliotdan (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@XHILLR8 - CarPlay is built into the system with the touch screen. HUGE step up in this regard from previous gen models. The USB connection is in the factory position ( center console ). Phone connects automatically ( wirelessly )
Tires - I dont know if they are original, but would not be a surprise. Rears are about 35%, fronts about 75%
On the vent " residue " - honestly, no idea what you are seeing here. It is clean, clear and perfect. Maybe a shadow?
Let me know if there are any other questions !

  • XHILLR8 (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

@elliotdan Is the CarPlay wired and/or wireless? If wired, where is the connection (center console??)?
I trust those are original tires? How much life remains on them?
Lastly, on the drivers side left vent... what is the residue left behind?
    Thanks for the information.

Honestly, I am still not sure they have it totally fixed. My last F car ( 488 ) was showing signs. As I am sure most know by now - its greatly a function of where the car is kept - and how it is kept. Hot States are the first issue - but leaving the car in the sun is a major part of it. Crazy that this is still ongoing, but it seems like there are easier and quicker - and a LOT less $$$ than the thousands some spend - available these days. Both the previous owner and I have AC garages - and as is pretty clear from the mileage, the car hasnt had much outside exposure ! Bottom line is the buttons are perfect.

Did they finally get the sticky buttons corrected by this refresh?

Hi All - apologies for the late entry on this fabulous car. Some technical challenges with PCAR registration ! For a little background, I have had 6 Maserati G5’s since 2007. THE best value for $$$ of any high profile / high performance car on the market today, and dont believe a word of what some people ( who have never owned one ) say about maintenance etc. You get Ferrari status / looks / performance for 1/4 of the F car cost. These cars are UBER reliable - in addition to being gorgeous , it is unique and a blast to own…to say nothing of the 4 seater ( adult ) convertible seating. Not many of your neighbors or friends will have one - or anything close to this .
The MSRP on the car was over $160k, and this car can be bought for a fraction of that - with just 8500 miles.
I bought this car on a whim for my wife ( and because the seller was 5 miles from me ) a few months ago. That idea quickly lost traction, and I have hung out since then in the hope a change of heart….but thats not happening, so I’m reluctantly ready to pass the torch with this fabulious machine to its next owner.
Since I bought the car, I have installed full clear front end PPF ( front bumper, fenders, hood, headlights, A frame and door mirrors ), had a full service and had lowering springs ( makes a huge aesthetic and performance difference - Original springs with the car ) + spacers . About $5k spent….and about 300 miles added. Crazy - but the best intentions and laid plans …
The one thing I can assure anyone interested - there is no better, more spectacular Maserati GTC on the market at a better price. The car absolutely needs nothing. I will do my best to keep up with any questions etc . Thanks for your interest
