Representing the sixth generation of the BMW’s revered M5 sports sedan, the F90 was the first M5 to use BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system and provides up to 600 HP from its twin-turbocharged V8 engine when equipped with the Competition Package. The M5 “First Edition” was introduced at Gamescom 2017 along with the release of the Need for Speed Payback video game. One of just 400 examples produced, this 2018 M5 First Edition wears special Frozen Dark Red Metallic paint, gloss black exterior trim, 20” black wheels, and a Smoky White leather interior with red contrast stitching and Piano Black trim. It was originally delivered to Habberstad BMW of Huntington Station, New York at an original sticker price of over $128k including BMW carbon-ceramic brakes, the Executive Package, the Driving Assistance Plus Package, and more. Showing less than 300 miles driven since new, this M5 First Edition is now being offered at auction by its seller out of New York.
The BMW Individual Frozen Dark Red Metallic (P71) finish is accented by high-gloss black Shadowline trim around the windows, kidney grilles, fender vents, and exhaust tips. Other details include a carbon-fiber roof panel, widened aluminum fenders, an aluminum hood, model-specific front and rear bumpers, and gold carbon-ceramic brake calipers. The black BMW Style 706M double-spoke light-alloy wheels are mounted with the original Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The seller notes some minor curb rash on the driver’s side front wheel, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Smoky White Full Leather upholstery covers the dashboard, center console, door panels, and glove box lid with red contrast stitching and Piano Black trim throughout. The 20-way adjustable multifunction seats feature heating, cooling, and massage functions along with illuminated M5 badging in the headrests and M tri-color seatbelts. The dashboard is covered in contrasting black leather, and the headliner is trimmed in Anthracite Alcantara. The optional Executive Package equips soft-close automatic doors, a power rear sunshade, rear side window shades, Parking Assistant Plus with the 3D Surround View camera system, Active Park Distance Control, and the Driver Recorder. The Driving Assistant Plus adds Active Cruise Control, Active Lane Keeping, Traffic-Jam Assistant, and Cross-Traffic Alert Front as well as Evasion Aid and Side Collision Avoidance. Standard amenities include Comfort Access keyless entry, a power tailgate, a heads-up display, a heated multi-function steering wheel, navigation with Advanced Real-Time Traffic Information, BMW Gesture Control, Apple Carplay, 4-zone automatic climate control, and a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system.
The F90 M5 is equipped with a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine factory rated at 600 HP and 553 lb.-ft of torque. An 8-speed ZF M-Steptronic automatic transmission with an Active M Differential sends power through BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel-drive system and offers three modes including a rear-wheel-drive option. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in approximately 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 189 MPH paired with the M Driver’s Package. Performance features include an Adaptive M suspension, optional BMW carbon-ceramic brakes, dynamic stability control, launch control, and a BMW Performance exhaust system. The CARFAX report shows a consistent history of dealership maintenance including a battery replacement in 2019.

Can you please comment on the paint readings - some are in 6-7 range and others in the 4-5 range?
Does the car have ceramic "rotors" - unclear in write up - one place says has gold painted ceramic calipers - other places says it has ceramic brakes - window sticker does not show ceramic brakes?
Does the car have PPF and if so what areas.
Can you show a photo of the odometer with current miles?
Thx

@Yags The color combo is actually stunning in person, it has to be seen up close to truly be appreciated. Most think the car has a wrap on it and are shocked when they find out its the factory BMW individual color paint job. It is really gorgeous.
@Yags Leased to a private collector whom planned on keeping the car and buying it out at lease end. The M5 was stored in his garage for years, rarely saw the road. He recently purchased the new 22 M5cs and gave this 18 M5 FE back to us on trade. Copy of window sticker will be uploaded shortly. Thank you for your interest!
Very unique color combo. I have never seen a leased car with only 272 miles after 4 years. What’s the story? Do you have the original window sticker
