The high-performance version of BMW’s 2-Series Coupe, the M2 features a turbocharged N55 straight-six engine delivering 365 HP to the rear wheels. This 2018 example presents Long Beach Blue Metallic paint, Black Dakota Leather upholstery, and the optional Executive Package. Upgraded with an M Performance exhaust system and 19” Style 788M wheels, this M2 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California with approximately 91k miles showing on the odometer.
The M2 features more aggressive styling than a standard 2-Series Coupe including unique bumpers, side skirts, fender grilles, a body-color rear spoiler, and a diffuser with quad exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Long Beach Blue Metallic with black kidney grilles and upgraded 19” Style 788M wheels. The CARFAX report notes minor damage to the windshield and rear glass, along with minor paintwork on portions of the passenger side in May 2022. The seller states this resulted from vandalism, with a police report detailing the damage and an insurance quote for the repairs provided in the gallery.
Inside, the driver is greeted by Black Dakota leather upholstery contrasted with blue stitching, tri-color steering wheel stitching, and carbon fiber trim. The optional Executive Package includes a heated steering wheel, adaptive LED headlights, automatic high beams, Active Driving Assistant, rear Park Distance Control, and wireless charging. Other features include power-adjustable heated sport seats, Comfort Access keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, a BMW iDrive infotainment system with GPS navigation, Bluetooth, and XM satellite radio, and a Harman/Kardon premium sound system. The taillight warning is said to occasionally illuminate, although the rear lights are in working order.
The turbocharged 3.0-liter N55 inline-six engine generated 365 HP and 343 lb.-ft of torque stock. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Standard performance features include Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), an Active M differential, and M Compound 4-wheel ventilated anti-lock disc brakes with Dynamic Brake Control (DBC). An M Performance exhaust system has additionally been fitted. The seller adds that recent service includes replacing the front brake pads and rotors, along with a bent control arm repair and a fluid flush.
