Alpina has been one of the foremost BMW tuners in the world since 1965, manufacturing their own models with hand-built engines, upgraded suspensions, and specially-tuned transmissions. This 2018 Alpina B7 xDrive is based on the G12 long-wheelbase 7-Series luxury sedan, and is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a black Nappa leather interior. It comes equipped with a modified hand-built 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 producing 599 HP, an Alpina-tuned xDrive all-wheel-drive system, recalibrated air suspension, Alpina signature multi-spoke 21” forged wheels, Brembo brakes, unique exterior styling, and a suite of luxury amenities and driver assistance. Hello all. Thank you for viewing the B7 Alpina. It is truly one of the most unique cars that I can think of. The twin-turbo V8 in here is unbelievable and it is hard to imagine how fast and powerful this car is without driving it. However, the luxury factory is top notch as well, and the suspension was completely surprising to me. The ride (in LIMO mode as I call it) was soft and takes every imperfection in the road like a flagship luxury sedan should, and in Sport +, the drive is tight and suddenly feels like the car lost 1,000 pounds. I have always loved Alpina's work and modifications, but this really is next-level. While all B7's were highly optioned, the icing on this cake is the unbelievable rear seat luxury package. The rear seats are fully adjustable, reclining, heated, cooled, and massaging. Each seat has individual controls along with its own user- controlled entertainment screen. This B7 has the unique ability to provide pure luxury as a passenger, and a dynamic driving experience as well. Think of the Alpina B7 as the child of an M5 and a Maybach.
