Available for auction is this 2017 Volvo V60 T5 Premier Wagon finished in Bright Silver Metallic over a beige leather interior. Representing the second generation of Volvo’s entry into the mid-size executive segment, the V60 is the estate variant of the S60 sedan. This 2017 example is believed to have spent its life in California and was acquired by the seller in September of 2020. It comes equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, dual-zone automatic climate control, a premium audio system, power-adjustable seats, a power-operated sunroof, the Convenience package, and more. Accompanied by the remainder of an 8-year platinum warranty (3 years or 100k miles), this V60 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California, while showing approximately 55k miles on its odometer.
This example is finished in Bright Silver Metallic and is said to remain in very good overall condition while showing a small dent on the rear passenger door, and a small scratch on the hood. The finish was recently detailed and the rear bumper wears a layer of protective vinyl at the top. Removable tints have also been applied to all windows excluding the windshield. The seller states the front bumper was repaired following minor damage in 2017, detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report. It rides on a set of 17” alloy wheels dressed in Michelin Premier all-season tires from 2019.
The cabin is upholstered beige leather with matching door panel inserts and black carpets. Amenities include aluminum-look trim on the center console and dashboard, heated power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a premium audio system, the Sensus Navigation system, a power-operated sunroof, and the Convenience package which adds a rear park assist camera, power-retractable side mirrors, and more. The seller confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories remain functional.
Power comes from a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine which produces up to 240 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque. The front wheels are driven by way of an 8-speed shiftable automatic transmission. The suspension consists of a front Macpherson strut arrangement and a rear multi-link setup. Additional features include a brake-actuated limited slip-differential and 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS and an electronic parking brake. The CARFAX includes 10 service history records dating back to 2016 with the most recent coming in April 2022. The seller notes that under their care all major maintenance has been completed per Volvo's recommended intervals. The remainder of a transferrable 8-year platinum warranty will accompany the car and expires in October 2025 or at 100k miles.
This sale will include the owner’s literature, warranty documentation, and a clean title.

@rickster Understood!
@larrygk Thanks for the response. Where I live (Utah) a 4X4 is usually useful especially for resale too.
@rickster Thanks. Yes FWD. Better mpg and in CA not as critical an option unless in the mountains. With 44 cubic ft of cargo space, it's plenty for many applications.
Front wheel drive only?
Good looking vehicle; not a SUV for a change!
Thanks, Ric

@E36MMMM3 Thanks for the message and the PM
Interested in coming to see it, checks a lot of boxes off for me. I will pm you. Looks very clean. I live in LA. Thanks.
@Esloane Thanks for the question. Total cargo room is 44 cubic feet. It also has the longitudinal runners on the roof to attach either Volvo OEM or aftermarket racks.
Considering this car. What is the cargo space with the rear seats down? Thx
Happy holidays and welcome to our auction. A 40 year car enthusiast, restorer, former SCCA road racer, PCA member, and PCAR fan with more than a couple of Porsches in the garage through the years, we offer our 2017 V60 T5 wagon. With the safety and quality of Volvo coupled with the direct Volvo maintenance history and the warranty protection on this car (Platinum until October 2025 or 100k miles), we hope you consider it if it fits your requirements.
This has been very well taken care of and in Volvo terms is "just breaking in" in regards to it's 9k per year average mileage.
Let's get out in front of the item you may want to know more about: Incidence. IN our ownership the front passenger quarter panel and headlight assembly was replaced. This was a somewhat rare one, and documented. An officer was traveling a tight lane PCHwy traffic pattern to get to a major accident. If we had not slightly veered to the right contacting the car next to us, we would have been side swiped by the police car. As we found out in reporting it, this is not that uncommon. We may have been going 5 mph if that. So professional repairs done with all paperwork.
Thanks for reading and please reach out with your questions. I am happy to show the car live here in Carlsbad, and/or provide other media for out of area serious bidders.
Want to also thank the PCAR crew for treating this auction no differently than a car of much greater value, as most of their auctions are.
Thanks
Larry
