2017 marked the inaugural model year of the 991.2 generation and the first time a 911 Targa was offered with a turbocharged engine since 1989. This GTS version was the range-topping Targa available at the time, commanding an original sticker price of over $162k. It comes finished in Jet Black Metallic over a two-tone Black and Bordeaux Red interior with optional carbon fiber trim, instrument dials in White, and Power Sport Seats. It was also ordered with optional rear-axle steering, Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), a GT Sport steering wheel, and Premium Package Plus. Remaining under a Porsche Certified Pre-Owned warranty, this GTS is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 43k miles on the odometer.
This Targa is finished in Jet Black Metallic with GTS-specific trim including SportDesign mirrors, SportDesign bumpers, tinted taillights, black exterior accents, and 20” 911 Turbo center-lock wheels. Optional details include LED headlights in black and the deletion of the rear model designation. Custom red GTS logos have been added to each side and a ceramic coating was applied to the exterior in 2021. The car rides on a set of Pirelli P Zero tires from 2021 and the seller describes the finish to be in excellent condition with only minor rock chip touchups. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in two-tone Black and Bordeaux Red full leather upholstery in favor of the standard GTS Alcantara package. Optional instrument dials in White were selected from the factory along with the Carbon Fiber Interior Package, illuminated door sills in carbon fiber, 14-way Power Sport Seats, a heated GT Sport Steering wheel, and Bose Surround Sound System. The optional Premium Package Plus also adds Porsche Entry & Drive, automatically dimming mirrors, Light Design Package, and front seat heating and ventilation.
This Targa 4 GTS carries a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine that develops up to 450 HP. All four wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission providing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of 190 MPH. Standard performance features of the GTS include PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Exhaust, and the Sport Chrono Package. The seller states a 40k-mile service was performed in May 2022 and the Porsche Certified Pre-Owned warranty provides coverage until October 2023.
This sale will include the original window sticker and a clean title (lien).

@Scotty-O the car hasn’t had any paintwork to my knowledge, im not the original owner. The first owner drove it about 40k but looking at the paint i dont see any signs of paintwork. The original owner treated it very well. The front hood and bumper has rock chips, it didnt bother me enough to get it fixed but it could use touch up since it didnt have any ppf and black cars tend to show , but this can easily be fixed by a detailer. The CPO is on the car.. it transfers with the car and remains valid unless sold by a non porsche dealer , private sales are fine and it doesn’t cost anything bc there is no paperwork required
So just to be clear this car has never had any paint work? Does not need any paint work other than a couple of rock chips? The CPO warranty transfers to the next owner? Is there a cost involved in transferring the warranty?

This is an amazing car and I hope it goes to an amazing buyer! I purchased the car in May 2022 from Porsche of the main line (westchester, PA) and have put about 1k miles on it. The car is super fast and is a head turner with the jet black exterior over red leather. The car was originally a lease in NJ and I think it was bought out by the same owner in 2021 (which makes me the 2nd or possibly 3rd owner). The car runs great and is the only Porsche I’ve owned without the dreaded brake squeal (I’ve owned many 911s). Please feel free to ask me any questions about the condition of the car.
Awesome car! Wish it had a third pedal for perfection!!
@Bhenrie hi, no paintwork is needed, it is a black car with 43k miles and never had PPF on it to my knowledge so it does have normal wear. If the rock chips bother you I’d recommend some black wax or a vinyl wrap on the hood… not worth respraying in my opinion
How much paint work needs to be done on the front bumper and hood? Looks like so many rock chips it may require painting and not just touch up. Or is it just lighting or bugs?
