Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), Sport Chrono Package, heated 2-way Sport Seats Plus, Guards Red seatbelts and instrument dials, the Light Design Package, auto-dimming mirrors, and BOSE Surround Sound System. Imported to the U.S. in 2021 where it was purchased by the second and current owner, this Cayman S is now being offered for auction out of Tennessee with approximately 16k miles showing on the odometer.
This 718 is finished in Agate Grey Metallic and features optional LED Headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), auto-dimming mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, Sport Exhaust System tailpipes in silver, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. Other accessories include the optional Light Design Package, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control, cruise control, BOSE Surround Sound System, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. A set of black carpet floor mats with deviated red stitching was added by the current owner and the original mats are included in the sale.

This car is factory-equipped with optional Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), the Sport Chrono Package, and Sport Exhaust System. The seller notes an upgraded BMC air filter has been installed and the engine was serviced with new Motul motor oil and Liqui Moly Ceratec oil additive in September 2024.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a tire inflator, a battery trickle charger, the original floor mats and side marker lenses, and a clean title (lien).
The seller would like you to know: “This is a bone stock, unmolested Cayman S with very low miles, you will probably never find another one. And it's a manual which is super hard to find. It took me 3 years to find this car. I've owned this car for 2 years. It has been fantastic. It has always been garage-kept, and I have always hand-washed it. It also has a 5-year ceramic coat on the paint.”

@Ksdaoski True statement right ther. Bravo 👏
wow.
1. I have never heard of a PDK/manual swapped 718. The time spent on doing that would be extensive, and the costs ridiculous. Plenty of manuals to fine vs doing a swap.
2. It takes about 10mins to swap out the gauge cover. Do a search. Its just a face that gets changed out. None of the elctronics.
3. When importing a Canadian car to the US (less than 25 years) you're required to swap from KM to MPH.
4. Its very clear what was done here. Whomever imported the car, took the path of least resistance, or didn't realize there was a difference between PDK/manual gauges, swapped the MPH gauges in to be legal, and probably didn't even know there was a difference. Truth be told, I have a manual 991, and 2 PDK 718s, and have never noticed the PDK shift pattern.
@wadds1971 well if someone did swap the transmission and add a shifter to it that's a shit ton of work. I'm pretty sure the guy who owned this in Canada ordered it like this
As far as the gauges are concerned. They definitely do not un any way hinder the driving in this car at all. I'm sure it's a huge discussion because we have more purists on here than just drivers. If the next person that buys this car wants to change the gauges from black to red be my guest.
@Roccoharvey101 - Can someone please clear up the confusion re: the dash instruments? The Vinanalytics report specifies that all dash instruments were delivered with Guards Red dials, but they are now all black. And, the tach is one specified for a PDK-equipped car, not a 6-speed manual. Obviously, these were all swapped out at some point. Speculation is that this was done when the car transferred ownership to its second owner in the U. S., and a conversion to a "mph" speedo was done. If so, do we really know what the actual mileage is on this car? Perhaps this was done by a dealer, prior to the "second owner" taking possession of the car? If so, why was a PDK tach installed? Or, is it possible that this was a PDK car from the factory, which was later swapped to a 6-speed manual? The Vinanalytics report does not specify which transmission came with the car originally, but perhaps someone can find a more specific report somewhere? This really is a beautiful-looking Cayman S, and it would be nice to have a clear understanding of its original configuration.

@Roccoharvey101 @pm2207 looks like it does light up the number of the gear I added a few pictures of it below for you
@pm2207 i don't have any. The only thing I've done is oil and tires. Maybe when it got serviced in the past from the previous owner at porsche
Do you have any maintenance records? It should have had spark plugs, drive belt, serpentine belt, throttle body cleaned, brake fluid flushed, and a bunch of filters changed.
@pm2207 yes I believe it does I'll confirm later today
@AmeliaIslander Interesting pick up. It does have the red seatbelts. I sort of wonder if they swapped the entire cluster.
When you shift between the gears does it change on the display?
The options listed for this car included "XFG - instrument dials in red" & "XGN - sport chrono stopwatch instrument dial Guards Red."
https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0AB2A83HS285937/
The sport chrono dial face is Guards Red, but the instrument dials are base black (in addition to the tach face being the one for a pdk.
???
@westhigh Dealer probably overlooked that when converting mph dials.
@Roccoharvey101 DME is a rev report.
Bid in the amount of $30,000
@Ksdaoski yes it could

I can probably take a few screenshot and ad them . No ppf.
Not sure what dme is
@Roccoharvey101 Maybe email screen shots to pcarmarket and they can upload it with the pictures?
Is there any PPF on the car?
Any chance for DME report?
Thanks
@pm2207 i do have that just not sure how to share it
Is the Carfax report available?
@westhigh From what I was told from the dealer that I bought it from was. They had to change it to mph if your selling it in the United States. Canada has kilometers.
I had plans to change it just haven't got to it yet
@westhigh certainly not a stupid question! I have never seen (or noticed?) this before on a manual.
Pardon a stupid question but why is the pdk
shift pattern on the tach face on the dash?
Thanks
Bid in the amount of $17,718
