@AdamIsAdam Hello, we called the seller who is not near a computer. He did not own the vehicle at the time, he did add that since it states that it was re-installed and not replaced, it is highly probable that it was only removed to replace some type of warranty item where it is necessary for the trans to come out of the car for access purposes. Hope this helps.

Any idea why the tranny was removed per CarFax?
As far as I am aware, this car has been owned by business professionals and was not used as a performance or racing vehicle. I haven't found a DME report necessary as it hasn't been driven hard.
Any chance you can share photos of the buttons in the center console along with those near/under the PCM? Thanks so much.
When Ken Garff serviced the car in June did they do a DME report ??
Interested and had a few questions
1) to add to the other poster when is the factory warranty end the Carfax shows a predelivery inspection almost 7 months before the first owner reported which would theoretically be the first in service date but there are two entries of in service before the first owner was reported..
2) car appears to have fabspeed exhaust tips and the side vents are carbon fiber but doesn’t look Oem/isn’t listed on build sheet. is there a chip/gash in one of the carbon fiber side vents shown in the pictures or is that a reflection? Any other mods does it have a tune ?
Also is the dealer lot sticker barcode on the driver side easily removable ?
@HelpMeHelpU the 4 cyl in the 718s just...well, it is what it is
Caymans get no love. It's a little secret that they are some of the very best sports cars out there and a hoot to drive.
Looks like you bought it at auction 2 weeks ago. Did you do anything to it to prepare it for sale or just turn and burn?
Got a DME report?
