The second-generation Porsche Cayenne GTS is powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 engine and features a lowered PASM suspension as well as the SportDesign Package and large brakes derived from the Cayenne Turbo. This 2017 example comes finished in White over a Black leather interior and was configured at an original sticker price of over $111k including the Sport Chrono Package, Premium Package Plus, Bose Surround Sound System, a heated multifunction steering wheel, and 21” Cayenne SportEdition wheels in Black. Sold new in California and cared for by one prior owner, this Cayenne GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee while showing approximately 70k miles on the odometer.
The GTS comes standard with tinted LED taillights, black Sport Tailpipes, and the SportDesign Package which includes revised front and rear fascias with painted lower valences as well as extended wheel arches, side skirts, and a body-colored rear spoiler. This example comes finished in White and features “GTS” logos on the front doors along with optional black roof rails and 21” Cayenne SportEdition wheels in Black. The car rides on a set of Continental ContiSportContact 5P tires. The seller notes a minor accident caused cosmetic damage to the rear bumper which has since been refinished. Some paint chips are also present as well as a small ding on the front bumper, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report.
The black leather interior is equipped with heated and ventilated 14-way power-adjustable seats with memory as well as heated rear seats and a heated three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Other amenities include the Bose Surround Sound System, Porsche Entry & Drive, Lane Change Assist, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and ParkAssist with a reversing camera. The seller states minimal signs of wear are present including some small scuffs at the driver’s door sill.
A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 engine produces up to 440 HP and 442 lb.-ft of torque and drives all four wheels through an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with a locking center differential. The GTS model comes standard with a lowered Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) setup as well as Porsche Traction Management (PTM), Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), red Turbo-derived brakes, and a sport exhaust system. The seller notes an oil change has been recently completed along with replacements of the valve cover gaskets and upgraded timing cover bolts as a preventative maintenance item.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a very nice driving GTS. Well optioned and has had some good maintenance updates. These turbo V6s are stronger and more reliable than their V8 predecessors. They are very fun to drive and will handle the mountain roads better than most sports cars out there.”

@abramski One thing about Cayennes is that they do consume! Brakes and tires. Although tires are common for any modern Sports SUV to go through.
Looking at the CarFax it looks like this vehicle eats tires or maybe that just shows how enthusiastic the previous owner was :) All good. Is it common for a GTS to go through tires about once a year, just wondering.

Bid in the amount of $9,500
Bid in the amount of $9,250
All recalls/campaigns are up to date
Also, want to note that there is an extended warranty for the ABS speed sensors until 2027.
@VicMan It has not had the transfer case replaced. However, the warranty for the T-case is valid until August 2024. I have had this done several times and typically Porsche will replace these no questions asked. Thank you for the question! I forgot to mention that. Miles
Has the Transfer Case been replaced by Porsche?

@cerb1958 Sorry about that, the photos wound up in the middle of the gallery. Photos number 76 and 81 show the non tinted front windows. Recent service work was performed at my shop and consisted of oil change, valve cover gaskets, and the timing cover bolt update. I can put an invoice together for this work for the new owner. I am going to pull the car out and get a few more photos of the windows and some other items. Thanks! Miles
is there any documentation regarding servicing since the last one shown in Dec 2020 at 41,000m?
@Miles.S I am still not able to find any pics with front windows up. Which photo numbers? just one from outside side profile would be fine
@Miles.S thank you!
@cerb1958 Hi there,
Tires are in great condition. Perhaps the photos did not express that. But the fronts are at 8/32s and the rears are at 9/32s. The photo of the windows up is in the gallery. I also uploaded photos of the screen on. Car drives really well! Smooth and tight. No squeaks or rattles. The brakes are in good condition and do not squeak. Please let me know of any other questions.
Cheers,
Miles

Hi again. Will you have the photos with the windows up, and of the center screen posted shortly? Also, looking at photos 167 and 169, the tires look pretty much out of tread - would you agree? Also, kindly answer the following 1. any squeaking with brakes? 2. Any noticeable vibration in steering wheel at low speed, or at highway speeds 3. any unusual squeaks/ rattles? thank you!

Were you able to verify the presence of Apple CarPlay on the vehicle?

@rbrunson Ill take some additional photos but that mark is not there in person. Pulling it outside today as I need a few other photos on it as well. Seats are very clean. Front bumper on the passengers side has a larger chip. A repaint on the front bumper would take care of this just fine. The wheel rash could be taken care of with a local alloy wheel repair. It would be smoothed out and repainted, very easy to do.
Should have the photos for all in the next few hours.
Thanks! Miles
In pictures 106 and 109 of the passenger's front seat is looks like it is stained from something white and almost like a boot print. Is this just some type of shadow in the picture or actually stained? If so can it be cleaned?
If you look at the pictures of the front bumper especially on the passenger's side there are some very big chips/chunks (picture 58) of the paint gone. I would say a repaint of the whole front of the bumper below the head lights and hood would take care of this damage, correct?
Can the curb rash on the wheels (pictures 33, 34, 39 and 40) be polished out? I know on one of my other cars it was not a big deal but just wanted to check.
Everything else looked nice on the car unless I missed something.
Thanks,
Wow sorry that happened. I recall you were very responsive to all comments. I'm sure this GTS will get a bunch of love here on PCar. GLWTA!
@rg33 Unfortunately the buyer failed to come up with the funds to purchase. I am the same owner. It was a great deal though!
Thanks Miles
Is this the same GTS from BAT earlier this month? If so, why are you selling? Wondering if you bought for personal use and it did not meet your expectation. It seemed like a great steal at $45k
@cerb1958 I will get some photos with the windows up and a photo of the screen on. Ill be to the shop shortly and have these photos uploaded
Thanks!
Miles
Hi all, thanks for checking into the auction here. Please let me know of any questions or requests throughout the auction.
I can assist with shipping worldwide if need be. Thanks! Miles
unfortunately the photos were taken with the front windows down. It's only a minor matter, but are the front windows the standard factory tint, or was extra tint added to match the other side windows? Also, do you have photos of the center screen turned on?
