Available for auction is this 2017 Porsche 991.2 Carrera 4S finished in Carrara White Metallic over an Espresso and Cognac Natural Leather interior. The 991.2 features updated styling and a powerful twin-turbocharged 3.0L flat-six engine. This 2017 example was delivered new to Porsche North Houston and was acquired by the seller in March of this year. It comes equipped with a dual-clutch PDK transmission, Adaptive sport seats, 20" RS Spyder Design wheels, the Sport Package, and more. With just under 15k miles showing on the odometer, this generously equipped Carrera 4S is now being offered by its seller out of Texas.
Finished in Carrara White Metallic, this 991.2 highlights dual center-exit exhausts, as well as revised healights and tailights. Being a Carrera 4S, this example also boasts widened fenders, shared with the 911 Turbo model. The finish is said to remain nicely preserved with paint protection film covering the full front end. Detailed images can be found in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX. Features include sport mirrors as part of the Sport Package and 20" RS Spyder Design wheels in Pewter. The wheels come dressed in a set of Pirelli PZero tires bearing date codes from 2016.
The cabin is upholstered in two-tone Espresso and Cognac Natural Leather and is complemented by a pair of 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats with memory function and Porsche crest headrests. Amenities include Adaptive cruise control with Porsche Active Safe (PAS), Lane Change Assist, a Heated Multifunction steering wheel, the Bose Surround Sound system, rear footwell lighting, and illuminated door-sill guards in stainless steel. A small imperfection is noted on the back of the driver’s seat, and the seller confirms that gauges, electronics, and accessories remain fully functional.
This 991.2 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0L flat-six engine that generates up to 420 HP and 368 lb.-ft of torque, which is fed to all four wheels through a lightning-quick 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Optional factory upgrades enhance the driving experience and performance capabilities including the Sport Chrono Package, Rear Axle Steering, Power Steering Plus, Sport Exhaust System, and a Front Axle Lift system. The CARFAX includes 10 service history records dating back to 2016, with the most recent being an oil and filter service in May of this year. Upon acquiring the vehicle, the seller commissioned a pre-purchase inspection from Einar's Garage of Houston at approximately 11k miles. Subsequent service included a new water pump, new engine cover struts, and a new passenger sun visor.
This sale will include owner’s books, toolkit, and a clean title.

@Mercyhealth thanks! I agree for several reasons, especially the clean lines.
Great car but the best option not mentioned. Sunroof delete!
@dukeyr Picture number 148 shows a page from the prepurchase inspection and includes two pictures and a description “Possible evidence of rodent activity found under battery compartment cover”. I requested that Einar thoroughly investigate to make sure there was no damage to any wiring. There was none and he said five seconds with the vacuum cleaner took care of it. The terminology “infestation” was from Someone else’s comment. This did not deter me from purchasing the vehicle after I spoke to Einar about it. Thanks!
Bid in the amount of $45,000
where did the rodent infestation comment come from?
i've read the details numerous times and don't see a mention of this.
sorry if this has been covered and i'm just not paying attention
Six hours remain in this auction. I'm here all day for final questions. You have at your disposal a fresh, thorough Pre purchase inspection from just a few months ago. The 991.2 water pump issue has been taken care of. This PPI bares the soul of this beautiful 4S, and should give you full confidence. Check out the level of scrutiny performed by Porsche ONLY, Einar's Garage of Houston. "Loaded" appropriately describes this beautiful 991.2 in elegant Carrara White over full Espresso/Cognac leather with the beautiful silhouette of a Sunroof Delete. Thanks for your interest! Brian

@LeeDavidAuerbach No. None. I asked Einar to confirm as part of the service. No damage whatsoever was found.
Is there any evidence of damage to the wiring harness due to the rodent infestation?

@HOTPLATE1031 Yes! The water pump was replaced, the engine cover struts replaced, and the passenger sun visor replaced by Einar’s Garage Houston after these items were noted as part of the PPI. I will post a picture of the Einar’s receipt later today.
was the coolant system leak addressed? If so is there a receipt to verify the work?
@donspaulding No track events to my knowledge or the previous owner’s. PCar just posted my 12 page PPI (at time of my purchase March ‘22) at the end of the picture gallery. Thanks PCarMarket!!
Has this vehicle been used for track events?
Copy of 11000 PPI report?
Thanks

@stor4u my bad, didn't realize that you were referring to brakes being 60-70%. Thank you for excellent details on the car. Cheers!
@dashanin Tires brands and types are a personal decision. I would like to leave that up to the buyer. Brakes were mentioned in previous response, 60-70%. Full 12 page hi tech PPI with pictures was provided to PCar. I would like to request that those docs be converted to .jpg and posted to the picture gallery. Thanks!
@stor4u thanks for the information. To be fair, I'd consider these tires needing to be replaced especially if the car is driven hard. What's the current state of brakes (my assumption that they are original as well)? Any chance you can share PPI report since its fairly recent?
@butchlobo Yes sir, this is a dealer sale as I purchased the vehicle with my Texas dealer license. If you are a Texas buyer I must collect sales tax as part of the sale. If you are out of state you will handle the sales tax. Thanks.
Quite nice. To be clear, is this a dealer owned vehicle and sale, or a private party? It matters as the state I live in collects sales taxes on dealer sold vehicles. Thanks.
@dashanin thanks for the inquiry. There are not any issues in the unprotected non-PPF areas. The scuff under the front right is indeed a scuff that I tried to reflect in the photo. The tires, although 6 years old, have enough tread on them that I did not feel they needed to be replaced. If you judge your tires by age, you might want to replace based on Porsche recommendation, but if you judge on tread, you will not want to replace yet. They are not dry, brittle or hard, and the ride is as good a new tires in my opinion. Several thousand more miles are left. The pre purchase inspection at 11,400 miles revealed 60-70% life remaining.
Hi there! Since the PPF covers only half the hood are there any stone chips on unprotected areas? I noticed a small scuff on the right lower section of the front bumper (next to the plastic splitter) - could you confirm that its a scrape? What's the current state of tires and brakes? Thank you.
Howdy from northeast Texas! Thanks for taking a look at this beautiful 991.2 Carrera 4S. Please note the generous options that includes all of the popular selections plus front axle lift, full leather and 18 way adaptive seats. No water pump worries on this .2 as this has already been taken care of. I will monitor the questions and respond ASAP!
@Rlanning yes, two keys, all manuals with manual pouch. I would describe the wheels as pewter and I have asked PCar to change that from Black so I will follow up.
Does it have 2 keys and all the manuals and pouch to hold the manuals? What color are the wheels? The explanation says black wheels but the pic shows silver wheels. Thanks, R
