Finished in Agate Grey Metallic over a Black and Luxor Beige leather interior, this 2017 Porsche 991.2 Carrera 4S Cabriolet was originally configured at an MSRP exceeding $154k. The car features the Premium Package Plus with 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, Power Steering Plus, Lane Change Assist, the Bose Surround Sound System, the Brushed Aluminum Interior Package, and the Sport Package which includes SportDesign exterior mirrors, rear-axle steering, the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust System, a GT Sport steering wheel, and a 7-speed PDK transmission. Furthermore, a factory-authorized Porsche OEM X51 Exclusive Powerkit was installed at Porsche Bethesda in 2018 at a cost of over $9k. Showing approximately 7k miles on the odometer, this one-owner C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Maryland.
Distinguished from a standard Carrera, the 4S model comes equipped with wider fenders, red brake calipers, and a red LED band spanning between the taillights. This example was ordered in Agate Grey Metallic with a black power-retractable soft top and features SportDesign exterior mirrors as part of the Sport Package. A set of 20” 992 Turbo wheels with colored Porsche crests have been mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires showing ample tread. Additionally, the factory-optioned 20" RS Spyder Design wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires showing 9/32" of tread will accompany the sale. The seller notes one minor imperfection in the front paint protection film that does not affect the paint. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the two-tone Black and Luxor Beige leather upholstery is complemented by the optional Brushed Aluminum Interior Package. Additional equipment includes a heated multifunction steering wheel, Power Steering Plus, Lane Change Assist, and a Bose Surround Sound System. The Premium Package Plus, paired with 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus and the Memory Package, adds auto-dimming mirrors, bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), front seat heating and ventilation, Porsche Entry & Drive, and the Light Design Package. The Sport Package adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard, while exclusive options include Porsche-crested headrests and a Brushed Aluminum gear selector trim.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine was factory-rated at 420 HP and 368 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 7-speed PDK transmission. A factory-authorized Porsche OEM X51 Exclusive Powerkit was installed at Porsche Bethesda in February 2018 at a cost of over $9k, adding 30 HP. The optional Sport Package adds the Sport Exhaust System, Sport Chrono Package, and Rear Axle Steering. Acceleration from 0–60 MPH is achieved in just over 3 seconds, with a top speed approaching 190 MPH. In September 2021, a check engine light appeared, and an inspection revealed damage to a wire leading to the solenoid valve driver, which the seller believes may have been caused by a mouse. The issue was repaired by an authorized dealer, and the fault was cleared. A total of 11 service history entries are shown on the CARFAX report.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a car cover, and a battery charger. Additionally, the factory-optioned 20" RS Spyder Design wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires showing 9/32" of tread will accompany the sale.
The seller would like you to know: "This is the car that I dreamed of owning for years and the first 911 I purchased. It began my journey with the 911 and - like many - it has an almost emotional connection to my family. It has always been the "cream puff" and the "hanger queen" -- meticulously maintained and only driven in perfect conditions. The spec (grey on beige with black top) is classic, the Turbo wheels add to the look (in our view) and the Powerkit provides GTS-level performance (450 HP) in a conservatively presented cabriolet. We are only selling because the 911 habit has lead to the recent acquisition of a 1973 S (Signal Yellow) and we are running out of garage space. Wishing it a wonderful next home."

I was about to bid $125,500 and my cellular was cut off because I was abroad. Congrats to the winner!
Congratulations to Philexus61 on the winning bid — and to kkarczewski for hanging tight to the end. Appreciate the great interest in the car and excited for it to go to its new home. Appreciate all who participated — and whom I met — during the process.

@Borz67 Thank you for your gracious comments. It was a pleasure meeting you and your son yesterday - the next generation of enthusiast! Wishing you all the best in your search.
@Turbox50 Thanks the question. The last service / oil change was less than 10 miles ago on May 5, 2025. The record - including the multi-point inspection report - is the first page of the PDF document that is attached to this auction. I also had the dealer do a PPI to assist buyers. The video for that is also included on this auction record. Hope that helps and thanks for your interest in the car.

I saw This car yesterday, it’s an absolute beauty, the owner is an awesome true Porsche enthusiast. I am leaning more toward coupe but if you are looking for a well spec 4s convertible, do not hesitate and if you win make sure you meet the owner as he is as sincere as it gets.

Good morning PCarMarket community and interested bidders. Welcome to the last day of this auction. Please ask any final questions you might have, and note that the complete service history of the vehicle has now been posted as well. Thanks again for your interest!
Someone will be getting a very enjoyable ride. I had almost the same one. I lost in in the tidal surge from hurricane Helene. Wanted another one but opted for a manual Spyder. The 4 S was quick and civilized.

@atdds72 Good evening and yes, all of the documentation is available. I had provided to PCarMarket staff earlier and will check with them to see if they can post the PDF of the service records including the X-51 installation tomorrow morning. Thanks for your interest in my car and let me know if I can assist further.
@Lymer Greetings Lymer - I thought I might add to my earlier response by noting that the X-51 Powerkit really just upgrades the S model to GTS level (as a GTS would come from the factory). Specifically it includes larger twin turbos and an ECU flash to allow higher boost pressure (with the larger turbos). Others more expert in this area can certainly correct me if I am wrong. This car has passed Maryland emissions every year required, and I imagine would be the same as taking a 7K mile 2017 GTS through California smog testing. Thanks!
@joshkern Good evening Josh - It was a pleasure meeting you and having the opportunity to show you the car this evening. Appreciated our discussion of your prior 911s and how the technology has changed over the years - while preserving the soul! Thanks for your interest and glad to be connected to another enthusiast.

Hi PCAR Community. I live close to this car and the owner was kind to allow me to see it in person this evening. Prior to this week I had no knowledge of the owner or the car. Couple things. First, the owner is clearly a Porsche enthusiast and seems like a very decent guy. Second, this car appears (to me) as advertised. I sold my two 911s in 2023 and am certainly no expert. With that disclaimer, I suspect the new owner will be pleased with this purchase.
beautiful car. i'm assuming you have all of the service records and x51 powerkit records from the installing dealer.
Bid in the amount of $60,000
Thank You. I am watching.
@Racer218 Greetings - I’ve confirmed with PCarMarket staff that they have no problem if your dealer makes the purchase so as to enable the car to become CPO. Thanks and good luck should you choose to proceed!
@Lymer Hi and thanks for your interest in this car. The only “modification” to the car was the addition of the Factory Authorized X-51 Powerkit - which should not in any way impede your ability to pass California smog testing. Hope that helps. Thanks!
Hi,
Great looking car but I live in California and need it to smog satisfactorily. With the options you’ve added, has that altered its ability to pass California rules?
Thanks

@Racer218 One further thought on this is that it would be subject to PCarMarket’s auction rules. They will need to OK and I will check with them.
@Racer218 That’s a great question and one I’ve never had. I don’t see why not. As you see in the records, the car has been exclusively serviced at Porsche Bethesda (MD) and they completed an independent PPI prior to this posting. So I have great confidence it would be CPO-eligible.
If I am the successful bidder would you allow my local Porsche Dealer to buy it so they can Porsche Certify it?
@shamansky Thanks for your appreciation for this spec! I’ve enjoyed becoming a real enthusiast for the 911 and part of the broader wonderful Porsche community. You’re right, the factory Spyder wheels look good - and may be perfect for some - whereas I felt the Turbos look great! The good news the successful buyer gets to choose. Thanks all for your interest.
Here's how you know this gorgeous cab has been cared for by a true enthusiast. He or she brings it home and looks at it for a while and decides to change the factory wheels.

@MerdyDirty Thanks for asking and yes. I just uploaded a photo of the window sticker. Let me know if for any reason it’s not legible enough for your inspection. Thanks for your interest in my vehicle.
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
Do you have window sticker or build sheet?
@sdossick You do indeed see reflections of the 1973 S! I’d like to say they were intentional Easter eggs for astute buyers like you to find - but I wasn’t really that intentional. Well spotted. You’re correct, both are fine examples in their own ways.
Am I mistaken, or do I see reflections of the 1973 S on the sides of the photos in 189 and 190? :). Both are great in their own ways -- almost like bookends, near the beginning of the classic 911 and then near the end of the 991 era. Gorgeous!
The listing has been updated to reflect that the factory-optioned 20" RS Spyder Design wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires will be included in the sale.
Bid in the amount of $35,000
@steveke2 Thanks for asking and sorry the listing was a bit unclear on this point. The car comes with two sets of wheels and tires (both P-Zeros). The factory original Spyder wheels (with about 500 miles on them) and the Turbo wheels which I purchased separately ($7K). Hope that helps!
Beautiful car. I have a 997.2 same color and Cab. Question: the closeup pics of the wheels (off the car) in the photos show different wheels than what is on the car...?
@GDogg Thank you so much for the kind words. Sad to be selling but know it will find a great new home!
Absolutely spectacular C4S Cabriolet in Agate Gray over Luxor Beige and the Black Soft Top.
Best wishes!
