@Skopy54 Celico Auto Body Shop, located in Bunell, FL.
Thanks.

Do you have info on the shop that did the cosmetic work?
@hecyanmir I'm talking about the 30k service (Charlotte NC)
The paint job was done here in florida.
Thanks.
H
@hecyanmir ... last time I was there...(pardon the typo)
@Skopy54 Yes. I live in florida and have a business in Charlotte. I travel 5 to 6 times a year to Charlotte. The service was performed last the I was up there. I hope this answers your question.
Thanks.
H
If the car is located in Florida and that’s where seller says work was done, why is the invoice from North Carolina. Can you help me understand why this isn’t adding up please?
Bid in the amount of $66,000
@hecyanmir I added the best picture I could take of the underside.
Thanks

@Rlanning @Rlanning. Too low to take one. However I took one that shows the exhaust pipes. Let me find it and I'll post it.
Thanks.
Do you have some pics of the underside? The photographer usually takes those pics when shooting.
@willee21 Yes.
Thank you

@Rlanning No I cannot do it myself. Only Pcarmarket can modify the pictures herein.
I do believe, however, they have a picture of the 30k service which cost $1,100
Again, beside the 30k service, paint job and oil changes, no other service has been required thus not performed.
Thanks
Is it possible for you to enter pictures of the invoices on this site of the work done on the car? Thanks

2.There are two Porsche Dealers. Orlando and Jacksonvile. Both about an hour and a half away.
3.Any independent mechanic is also in the area of Orlando and Jacksonville. I live in a small town right in the middle of these two cities.
4.I do have a copy of the receipt for the 30k service. It was done in Charlotte NC during my last business trip.
5.The car has never been smoked in;never. I don't bend this rule for no one... and yes, still smells like new or it has that "leathery smells". Thank you. H
Thanks for the update on the painting. Could you please give me the name of the paint shop? Where is the closest Porsche dealer and also the closest independent Porsche mechanic? Also, you mentioned u had paper work on previous work done for example the 30k work. Could you please put all the invoices on the this site from previous visits to the mechanic. Has the car been smoked in or does it still have the Porsche new leather aroma? Thanks again for your time on these matters.
@Dom33 :-)
looking forward to seeing this bidding war go crazy tomorrow!!
@Rlanning It will cost not more than $1,350 to have both bumpers worked on, to take off any other small imperfections. I would do it here and now but the shop is booked until the end of August.
Thanks.
@Rlanning My pleasure.
Thanks
Thanks for your kind response and detailed update during your ownership. Look forward to hearing from you on Monday after you talk to your paint shop and hopefully are able to post any additional paper work on maintenance performed. Thanks again.
@Rlanning
Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns. This is a car that has been driven. This is not a show car that has been kept in a garage to be looked at. There is no issues with the car but the ones the cosmetic ones that have been mentioned. The more you drive the car the more that the paint will suffer from roads debris.
I'm the second owner. The only time the car has been in the shop is for painting the bumpers to take care of small cosmetics. The other two times had been for oil changes; the last one being the 30k service. I didn't use a porsche dealer in both cases, so maybe that's why it was not recorder... who knows!
The extended warranty expires in August, that is correct.
Again, the car, as someone said, it was meant to be driven, so I have.75% highway miles. Because it had been driven, the key fob had chips (the second one is in pristine conditions).
If you want this fob repainted I would pay the person who gets the car for that job. It is a special job that I may make it worst than what it is, and there is no guarantees to satisfy the buyer.
I would ask Monday for the cost to re-paint the whole rear bumper.
There is no lack of maintenance records. The proper maintance had been done. I'm not taking the car every 5k miles to just have maintenance records, when there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. My old 2012 911 only went to the shop 4 times in almost 5 years and 35k miles: oil changes (2), 30k service and to change the clutch at 33k miles. With all due respect, maybe I'm missing something here...
I can do so those things you mentioned, but it will not be done by next week.
Thank you .
Ok, many questions. It’s your auction, but it doesn’t make much sense to auction off your beautiful car with two obvious flaws. It could cause potential buyers to question what else has not had attention. Just a thought. Were you pleased with the paint work the shop did? When you go on Monday maybe you could get an estimate on the new repair along with the correct replacement of the letters that are now misaligned and misplaced and painting the key fobs. Are you the third owner? From new to 3/11/2021 @28,977, there are no service records. You bought this car 4 yrs ago it looks like and you got a 2 yr additional CPO that expires the end of Aug 2022? Is that correct? Based on the lack of maintenance records, it feels like an ECU report (last time fault code was cleared?), DME report, oil report, bore scoring test, compression test and a PPI would be in order to know the car is as solid inside as outside. Thanks for your time reading these concerns and wish you the best.
@Rlanning I may be able to get it. I'll go to the shop that did the job for me and ask for a copy of the work performed. Monday would be the earliest.
Thanks.
H
Do you have the paper work on the bumper painting from a year and a half ago?
@Rlanning @Rlanning. Yes, about a year and a half ago.
This incidente happened, or it was noticed, maybe 6 months ago.
Thank you.
Wasn’t the rear bumper just repainted?
@Rlanning @Rlanning. There is just no time for that. If you can come up with a dollar value I'll pay for it.
Thank you.
H
Is the large paint chip on the rear bumper and the wrong placement of the words on the back going to be corrected before the auction on this car ends? Thanks
@jaxt88 Just called porsche and they have 4 years from the first time of service (for this 2017 model it wa in September 2016) plus and extra 2 years that the certification adds to it. It looks like it has only 1 month left or so of Pre-owned limited warranty.
Thank you
@jaxt88 @jaxt88. Good morning.
"Porsche approved certified pre-owned limited warranty is 2 years, unlimited miles for any vehicle certified for the first time on or after 12/01/2017"
It was purchased on July 2018, so it was over on July 2020, according to what I read.
I will call Rusnak later on today to confirm it.
Thank you.
@hecyanmir when does the certified warranty end?
@BarryLe @BarryLe. You are correct.
Part of the description: "front and rear bumpers which were refinished to address cosmetic imperfections". The 911 Carrera 4s script had to be removed when the job was done, and when it was put back it was done with that "imperfection" which I didn't want to peel the script out to make it perfect... so I left it like that.
Thank you for your comment.
H
Something is very wrong with the 911 Carrera 4 script on the rear deck lid. It did not come that way from the factory.
Hello and thank you for checking out my 2017 911 4S in this auction. Please feel free to ask any question(s) you may have. Thanks for looking!
