Up for auction is this 2017 991.2 Porsche Carrera finished in Night Blue Metallic over a beautiful Black and Bordeaux Red full leather interior. This well-cared for example features a 3.0L twin-turbocharged engine delivering power to the rear wheels via a lightning quick 7-speed dual clutch Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. Purchased new in Warrington, PA from Sloane Porsche Audi, this car eventually made its way to a Porsche dealer in Fort Myers, FL where the current owner acquired the car in 2019. It is now being offered with only 24K miles on the odometer.
Optioned in Night Blue Metallic, the exterior paint on this Carrera has been meticulously maintained and shows to be in exceptional condition with the only flaw being a few scrape marks on the rear engine hatch. The Carfax history report notes a minor accident in the car’s past, though an AutoCheck report claims no signs of any issues whatsoever. The 991.2 is the first 911 to use predominantly aluminum construction, which saves approximately 110 lbs of body weight over the outgoing 997. The body is equipped with sport design exterior mirrors and sits on 20” factory 991.2 Carrera S wheels that come wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The interior of this Carrera features a striking combination of Black and Bordeaux Red leather. The instrument dials have been optioned in Bordeaux Red to compliment this two-tone interior. The condition of the upholstery reflects the seller’s pride of ownership and is stated to be in excellent shape. A set of Weather Tech floor mats have been installed to keep the footwells and carpet in factory condition. New for the 991.2 generation is a completely redesigned centre-dash which is dominated by the Porsche Communication Management System interface which features navigation, pinch, scroll and swipe functionality. Nicely spec’d when ordered new, this Carrera boasts an original MSRP of over $109k and comes equipped with the following options:
This 991.2’s 3.0L twin-turbocharged engine delivers 370 HP and 331 lb-ft through the rear wheels by way of a dual clutch 7-speed PDK transmission ($3.7k option). The lightweight aluminum body combined with the power from the twin-turbo engine allows this Carrera to sprint to 60 MPH in approximately 4.1 seconds. Porsche’s departure from natural aspirated engines in favor of more compact forced injection units make the 991.2 generation 12% more fuel efficient compared to its predecessor. This vehicle is said to be completely up-to-date on all service and is being sold with a clean bill of health.
The sale will include a Carfax report, AutoCheck report, books, and keys. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a well-maintained and highly-optioned 991.2 Carrera that is still under factory warranty.
