Marketed as the spiritual successor to Jaguar’s legendary E-Type sports car, the F-Type is based on a shortened version of the XK luxury grand tourer and represented the first mass-market sports car to have been offered in Jaguar’s lineup in over 40 years. This 2017 F-Type Convertible comes finished in Indus Silver Metallic and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California showing approximately 27k miles on the odometer.
The F-Type bodywork was styled by legendary Jaguar designer Ian Callum and features a sculpted front-hinged bonnet with air vents as well as chrome-trimmed fender vents, recessed door handles, body-color roll hoops, and a sharp rear end with an automatic spoiler and polished central exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Indus Silver Metallic with a black convertible top and factory 18” 10-Spoke alloy wheels. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in Jet Black leather with matching Suedecloth seat centers contrasted by piano black and silver accents. Driver amenities include a multimedia infotainment system, digital central display, pushbutton ignition, automatic climate control, power-adjustable seats, stainless-steel Jaguar logo treadplates, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters, and a high-end Meridian sound system.
Power comes from a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Up to 340 HP and 332 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds. The F-Type incorporates double-wishbone front and rear suspension with adaptive dampers and adjustable settings as well as a choice of 25 variable driving modes to choose from. Maintenance history provided on the CARFAX report includes services by British Sports Cars of San Luis Obispo carried out most recently in December 2022.
This sale will include a clean title.

@WRENCH.56 I am not sure what degree V6 this is but you are correct that it is a V8 design minus 2 cylinders. They make great power and are very smooth.
My understanding is that this V6 is simply the 90 degree included angle V8 with two cylinders lopped off. It is not a 60 degree V6. Is that correct?
Does it run absolutely smoothly and vibration free through the full rev range?
