Carrying on Ferrari’s tradition of front-engine V12 grand touring cars, the F12tdf was released in 2017 as the ultimate track-focused evolution of the F12berlinetta. Its namesake pays homage to the Tour De France endurance races in which Ferrari claimed victory from 1954-1966. Equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.3L V12 engine producing 769 HP, completely redesigned bodywork with race-derived aerodynamics, magnetorheological dampers, carbon-ceramic brakes, electronic rear-wheel steering, and extensive use of lightweight materials, just 799 examples of the F12tdf were built. This 2017 F12tdf was delivered new to The Collection of Coral Gables, Florida with around $120k of selected options from Ferrari’s Extra Campanario program including a special Giallo Triplo Strato exterior finish with a painted Nero racing stripes, a Nero and Giallo leather interior with Giallo contrast stitching, a Nero leather-upholstered headliner and rear parcel shelf as well as large-sized carbon fiber racing seats, the Adaptive Front Headlight System (AFS), a front suspension lifter, aluminum rev counter, and more. Accompanied by photo album detailing the factory build process, this F12tdf is now being offered at auction by its seller out of California showing just over 2k miles.

The exterior is finished in the triple-layer special-order color of Giallo Triplo Strato (159752) with a painted over-the-top Nero racing stripe. The aluminum bodywork of the F12 was almost completely redesigned for the tdf version, featuring widened front and rear tracks to accommodate larger tires, a scooped lower section that incorporates a splitter, dive planes, floor wings, and louvers for optimal airflow, a higher rear spoiler, a steeply raked rear windscreen, a finned rear diffuser with dynamic flaps, and a revised version of Ferrari’s Aerobridge technology. This example was optioned with carbon fiber headlight buckets, carbon fiber foglight bezels, yellow brake calipers, Titanium exhaust pipes, and AFS LED adaptive and self-leveling headlights. The entire body was wrapped in paint protection film by the selling dealer upon purchase by the current owner along with 70% window tint and windshield protection film, detailed images are provided along with a clean CARFAX report. The lightweight 20” forged wheels were refinished in gloss black and recently mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in February of 2022.

The cockpit of this F12tdf is custom-tailored in Nero (8500) leather with Giallo (0113) contrast stitching throughout. Leather upholstery extends from the seating surfaces to the upper and lower dashboard, center console, door panels, rear parcel shelf, and headliner, accented with matte carbon fiber trim on the center console, door panels, driver’s zone, air vents, and door sill guards. The carbon fiber-backed large-sized racing seats feature Giallo leather center stripes and Giallo embroidered Prancing Horse logos on the headrests. The flat bottomed multi-function steering wheel is wrapped in Nero leather with Giallo inner stitching, trimmed in carbon fiber, and features an integrated LED tachometer, carbon fiber paddle shifters, and the manettino switch. Driver amenities include dual LED driver information screens, an aluminum-finished tachometer, automatic climate control, navigation, Bluetooth, a JBL high-power hi-fi sound system, front and rear parking cameras, matching embroidered floormats, and a front suspension lift system.

The F12tdf is equipped with an upgraded version of the Tipo 140FC naturally-aspirated 5.9L V12, which features Formula One-inspired mechanical solid tappets and variable-length individual intake trumpets, producing up to 769 HP and 520 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a revised 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which uses shorter gear ratios and reinforced internals and an electronic E-Diff limited-slip differential to provide acceleration from 0-60 MPH in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 211 MPH. Performance features include Brembo CCM3 carbon-ceramic brakes with active brake cooling ducts, adjustable magnetorheological dampers, ESP Premium stability control, F1-Trac traction control, and Virtual Short Wheelbase electronic rear-wheel steering which helps reduce oversteer and increase turn-in capability at speed. This F12tdf remains under the coverage of its 7-year Ferrari warranty and was recently serviced by Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in February of 2022. The CARFAX report details a history of dealership service since new.
