At the 2014 North American International Auto Show, the M4 debuted as the new high-performance M-vehicle to supersede the venerable M3 Coupe. This 2017 BMW M4 Convertible comes finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over Golden Brown Extended Merino leather interior and pairs a desirable 6-speed manual transmission to its 3.0-liter S55 twin-turbocharged inline-six. Showing just under 20k miles on the odometer, this M4 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Maryland.
This example comes finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) with a matching power-retractable hardtop. The M4 can be distinguished from a standard 4-Series by its revised front and rear bumpers, aerodynamic mirrors, M4-badged fender vents, trunk lid spoiler, and quad exhaust tips. Factory blue-finished M-branded brake calipers can be seen behind the 19” BMW Style 437 light-alloy wheels mounted with Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires from 2019. The seller notes one minor scuff on the driver’s side rear valance along with a slight curb rash on the passenger front wheel. The cabin features Golden Brown Extended Merino leather upholstery contrasted with carbon fiber and black chrome trim. The heated front sport seats feature 10-way power adjustability, 4-way lumbar support, and seatbelts with M tri-color stitching. Driver’s amenities include a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, head-up display, a leather-wrapped multi-function heated steering wheel, automatic climate control, Park Distance Control with a rearview camera, Driving Assistant, Surround View, cruise control with brake function, and Comfort Access keyless entry.
This F82 M4 equips a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged S55 inline-six engine generating as much as 425 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque stock to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard performance features include an Active M limited-slip differential and robust M-compound brakes. The seller adds that regular oil changes have been carried out, as shown on the CARFAX report.
