The Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, echoing its road-legal counterpart, accommodates a 3.8-liter flat-six engine positioned directly behind the driver. The car integrates a modified 6-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung transmission with steering wheel-mounted shift paddles, a specialized rear-axle locking differential, and electromechanical steering. Drawing from components of the 911 GT3 Cup, it boasts a lightweight front axle and upgraded rear suspension. The braking system features 380mm steel discs, 6-piston front calipers, and four-piston rear calipers, with adjustable ABS and an expanded Electronic Stability Programme tailored for racing. This example has been wrapped in custom race-inspired livery and fitted with a passenger’s seat. With experience in Driver Education laps and runs at Nelson Ledges and Sebring, this meticulously maintained GT4 Clubsport is now being offered for auction on the seller's behalf out of Florida with less than 8k miles showing on the odometer.
Factory-finished in White, this Clubsport has been wrapped with custom livery to emphasize its track-oriented presence. Compared to the standard 981 Cayman, the GT4 variant features a vented front bumper with larger radiator grilles, a lower lip spoiler, side air intake scoops, a rear diffuser, and a larger rear wing. Additional equipment comprises front and rear tow hooks, as well as quick-release fasteners for the front and rear hoods. It rides on factory 18” forged aluminum Clubsport wheels fitted with Hankook Ventus tubeless radial tires, mounted and used on June 2, 2024. The sale also includes an additional set of wheels and one set of unmounted slicks. The seller notes minor track-induced blemishes, and detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the driver is situated within a lightweight racing cockpit featuring an FIA welded-in cage, a FireSafe FIA electronic fire suppression system, an emergency kill switch, and an OMP racing bucket seat with a Schroth 6-point harness. The seller notes that an additional matching bucket seat and harness have been installed to accommodate a passenger. The harness and seat codes are suitable for most Driver Education venues but may need updating for certain racing-sanctioning bodies. All gauges and electronics are reported to be in working order, and the seller has added a MoTeC Dash and Data System.
Powering the Cayman GT4 Clubsport is a 3.8-liter dry-sump flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed PDK racing transmission and a locking differential. This setup delivers 385 HP to the rear wheels, achieving a 0-60 time of approximately 3.8 seconds and a top speed exceeding 180 MPH. Factory performance features include Performance Friction (PFC) brakes, an adjustable Bosch 12-step Porsche Motorsport ABS module, 911 GT3 Cup-derived suspension, a 70-liter FT3 fuel cell, and a Krontec air jack system complete with the originally supplied wand and jacks.
This GT4 Clubsport is offered with a bill of sale, an extra set of wheels, and a set of unmounted tires.
The seller would like you to know: "I am helping my good friend sell his GT4 Clubsport. He is very easy on his equipment, only doing DEs, and has maintained it well. I have driven this car at Nelson Ledges and Sebring for a few laps and it is by far the easiest race car to drive fast. The Chassis builds confidence! I have access to the owner to answer any questions throughout the auction."

@WMDistel @WMDistel,
He also has 2 cup cars and he thought this would be the easiest to sell.
@TargaEng @TargaEng. Why is he selling the car?
The car was just serviced and then ran a DE event at Homestead on June 2nd.
The owner reported that it ran perfect!
The owner just confirmed that when he first received the car, they inspected it for any previous collision damage and found none. Only the colored portion of the car is wrapped the white is original paint.
@WMDistel @WMDistel, I believe the white portions are not wrapped, but I’ll try to double check before auction end. The present owner is not aware of any previous collision damage.
Bid in the amount of $52,000
Is the complete car wrapped or are the black and grey graphics just applied to the car?
Has the car sustained any damage?

@BLH944, thanks for the question.
Porsche doesn’t issue titles for their track cars to prevent registration for street use so no it is not street legal.
Hi Seller! Fantastic setup! Is this street-legal? GLWTA!
